Toy Art Gallery is proud to present the solo show "Escapist" from renowned Indonesian artist
Arkiv Vilmansa. opening on Friday, August 5th 2011 this show will be featuring new works, sculptures, limited edition prints and release a new figure called "The Sumo". Arkiv will be attending to the opening night where he will be doing a signing and live painting... you won't want to miss this!
I can totally recall seeing this figure above posted somewhere before... and it is actually a collaboration between both
Arkiv and
Huck Gee that was being produced by
adFunture. I also remember seeing multiple colorways of this mocked up... which looked pretty slick. Hopefully this show will not be the last we see of this dynamic sumo figure, and hopefully I can make it up to see it in person!
