WHAT'S NEW

Arts Unknown - "Bella Delamere" by Doktor A.

The great announcements keep rolling in along with some pretty sweet reveals the last few weeks, as UK based toy company Arts Unknown continue to reveal new characters from their upcoming star-studded line of vinyl figures and today we are getting a look at Doktor A.'s submission... "Bella Delamere"! Know for his awesome neo-steampunk designs Dok A. knockec this particular character out of the park, not only in design, but with a compelling story as well! Dok states "Discarded with the sump oil at a very early age, Bella was swept downstream until she found herself by the sea. She soon made friends with all forms of aquatic creatures and was taken in and raised by a family of Kraken (the smaller lesser spotted variety). Upon reaching adulthood she returned to the surface and emerged into society, remodelled after her adoptive kin folk. The tentacles do not raise many comments around town. But her insistence on always waring a mask certainly does. Much speculation is whispered about her true identity. And one day she will reveal her secret to the father who left her for dead..."

This figure, like the previous mentioned releases from Arts Unkown, stands 8" tall and is planned to ship during the 3rd Quarter of 2011. Also mentioned is that amongst the OG colorway that you see above, there will be a randomly inserted chase version as well... pretty rad, and on top of that, there is an exclusive Members’ Edition colorway (bloody version above), and in order to pick that up you’ll need to go to www.artsunknown.com and register for the Membership Program, which will be officially opening within the next few weeks. Lots of stuff in the works from this new company, and they have a great lineup to back them up, hopefully the QC is up to par as collectors these days are on the picky side... but from the initial looks of it, they seem to be pretty on point!
