"Ladies and Gentlecreatures" Indescribble's solo show at Iksentrik Gallery

Iksentrik is proud to be hosting an awesome art show in their new gallery space featuring the works of UK artist Laura Bath aka Indescribble. Having worked mainly digitally in illustration, children’s products and packaging for a number of years her recent work, dominated by hand-drawn pieces and acrylic paintings on panel, canvas and vinyl toys, has taken a more adult and analogue approach yet retains a child-like sense of play and imagination.

After a string of successful group shows alongside internationally renowned artists such as the likes of Julie West, Jon Burgerman & Peskimo, Indescribble is now receiving recognition for a growing spell of evolving inspiration and design, culminating in her taking center stage, with her debut solo show "Ladies & Gentlecreatures". The show will exhibit a variety of new works including paintings, prints, drawings, custom vinyl toys and plush. The opening for this show is on Saturday, July 10th, 2010 from 5 - 7pm.
