One-Eyed Girl's classic video game character inspired customs for "8-bit & Beyond 2!"

The fantastic and hyper-stylized art of Kasey "One-Eyed Girl" Tararuj continues to impress as she delivers a duo of video game inspired pieces for the Bottleneck Art Gallery's "8-bit & Beyond 2" exhibition. Above left is "Duck Hunter," depicting the dog from Duck Hunt, commonly known as the "Laughing Dog," skillfully interpreted onto a 4-inch tall Mini Bub vinyl figure complete with hand-crafted duckling upon his noggin. And above right we have "Yosh and Baby," a 4-inch tall vinyl creation inspired by Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, showing the titular characters of Yoshi and Baby Mario. Per usual, One-Eyed Girl has crafted superior works…

"8-bit & Beyond 2," a Chogrin curated group art show, opens tonight (August 8th, 2014) with a reception from 7-9PM at the Bottleneck Art Gallery, 60 Broadway, Brooklyn, New York 11249.
