Phunk x Mighty Jaxx - "Love Bomb" resin art multiple... up for pre-order now!!!

When Jackson Aw of Mighty Jaxx contacted me last year, he mentioned that he had alot of stuff in the works... but man, I never thought there would be this much awesomeness from his startup company... boy was I wrong! Just announced is a brand art figure dubbed "Love Bomb" which is based off an original life sized art sculpture by art collective, Phunk! A very unique take on a very destructive weapon... and although I can't say that taking a bomb and reworking it into an art piece hasn't been done before, in this capacity... it has not! The original was shown at their solo exhibition titled “Universality” at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei... and now Mighty Jaxx worked with Phunk to release this 12-inch tall version of the "Love Bomb". According to MJ "The process was not easy but with the help of project partner 3D Matters, we have attained the final prototype. Love Bomb will be released at Art Stage Singapore 2013." This resin art figure, limited to 100 pieces, measures 12" tall, will retail for $288 each, and is up for pre-order HERE right now!
