Amanda Visell's 8″ Wood Donkey Dunny!
Well it looks like Amanda Visell is getting an 8" Dunny created, and in her awesome style! The KRonikle just put up a flyer showing off this new design and posting a signing tour along with it. I remember seeing this design somewhere before and I did some digging and sure enough, look what I dug up!
Exhibit 1 is a picture from Amanda's blog taken back in September of 2008, where she has an actual custom dunny created almost identical to the one KR is producing, and if you look at the picture closer, below on a sketchbook is the figure once again. Now fast forward to Vinyl toy Network of last year and that is where I saw Exhibit 2, this painting was hanging on the wall in the Switcheroo workshop during the afterparty. This exclusive new 8″ Wood Donkey Dunny is coming to a KR store near you! Check out the dates below!

The future of Vinyl Toy Network...
So fast forward to this year! December 12th is the date and now instead of VTN it is now Designer Con, or "D-Con" for those of us in the know, hehehe (thanks Sir George). This is not going to pigeon-hole the event into one category like it did before calling it Vinyl Toy Network, now it gives it an almost open ended art feel, yet still focusing on the Vinyl Toy aspect of the event!
We had a blast last year and have even BIGGER things planned for this year so stay tuned for more info as it comes in... oh and it will be in a MUCH BIGGER space than last time... sweet!

Space Crab 3 various colorways...get em now!
Well it appears that these awesome figures by Pixefillu are finally available for purchase. You can get these 3 colorways of the Space Crab figure directly from the Wheaty Wheat website for $59.00 bucks a pop and you can still get the OG white color way from the site as well for $49.00. These are really cool figures and I saw the them first at VTN a couple of years ago.

Plastic Booty Collectibles - Pantheon Series

I had the opportunity to meet John and Anthony the minds behind Plastic Booty Collectibles at this years VTN, and boy do they have some awesome ideas and sculpts on their hands.I dig the concepts behind the whole Pantheon series, as I love mythology, you are bringing all the stories to life in a proper/fun way. The Thor figure looks very promising, and I could see this getting very good reception in the toy community, especially with the rough colorways/designs you attached…really cool. As for Cerberus, this has a lot of promise as well, I like the 3 heads and the simple lines of this figure, I could see this having it's own custom show, and I am excited to see the progress of both figures.
Rumor has it that Plastic Booty Collectibles is working on a separate release of smaller figures, but these are still in the design phase, and hopefully once they have something, I will be able to post it up here. These figures look really great guys, looking forward to many more updates!

Vinnie is the VTN mascot originally created by Chris Lee in 2d form, and he has now taken on a life of his own! Vinyl Toy Network - Neon Wack Pack
As noted before Brian Castleforte a.k.a NiceBunny's has some awesome art, and I have posted about it a while back here. I am really happy and pleased to find out that the vinyl form of his Wack+Blite toys are going to be release in an exclusive colorway...and by exclusive...I mean only 6 of them(well only 4 now...hehehe). Introducing the special, limited edition, Tribalnots colorway, The Neon Wack Pack!

These are very limited, VTN (Vinyl Toy Network) show exclusive, hand painted, resin sculpts, of my Tribalnot characters, known as Wack & Blite.It was such a pleasure to meet Brian and I had been eyballin these awesome figures the moment they took their spot on his table last week at VTN. I am honored to have one in my collection and I can not wait to add the original colorways once they get produced!
These neon colored beauties, sculpted and painted by Julie B of Pretty In Plastic, are limited to a series of only 6 figures. Each one stands about 11 inches tall with the arms up. Each comes on it's own base, in a special, handmade package. It also comes with a very limited, 9.5x13" archival print, which are limited to only 10. Each print and figure is signed and numbered.
There are only 4 left, and they are available now, at the NiceBunny Shop.Better hurry if you want one.

Chuckwa - New vinyl shop in town!

Winter VTN08...what a blast!
Just got home and what a GREAT TIME!!!!
I hope all of you that came out, really had a good experience, I know everyone that was with me had a blast. It was awesome to finally put some faces to all the names, to meet everyone and actually getting to talk to them in person is so great to do, and the vinyl toy community is really great, everyone was in good spirits, and really looked like they were enjoying themselves.
Thanks to everyone who came out, and for all of the support, and mostly thanks to Ben at 3DRetro and his crew, as well as everyone who sponsored all those amazing giveaways...unreal the support we got!!! Wizard Sleeve Toys, and Tenacious Toys, DrilOne, and Lou Pimentel for the awesome signings and support... Kuso Vinyl, DeliciousDrips...and everyone else that donated stuff for our giveaways...YOU ROCK!!!!!!

Super7 presents an EXTREMELY limited Gorilla Biscuit black prototype that stands 5" tall exclusively for Vinyl Toy Network, no word on the number of pieces, or the price of this figure, but I do like this colorway much better that the painted one!

So once again, another exclusive is dropping for VTN, this time from Peekaboo who is part of the PFOM crew! This awesome print titled "Vision Quest" is based off his artwork for Vivisect Playset 5. The print Measures 17" x 9 1/2"and is an edition of 25 and will sell for $65 each.
These turned out nice, and for that size of a print, this is a great deal. Pretty sure these will sell out, so hopefully you can be at the event on Saturday!
