Kotobukiya's Newest Horror Icon Bishoujo Figures Announced!

While I usually am not keen to delve into the realm of collectibles, as there are many other online sources for that information, I can't resist shining a light on figure maker & distributor Kotobukiya's newest horror icon figures for their "Bishoujo" line. Taking typically masculine monstrosities from horror films and reimagining them as Bishōjo, beautiful young women, there's something about this gender reversal and aesthetic inversion that truly tickles my fancy. Featuring characters redesigned by Shunya Yamashita, I noticed the pictured teasers for upcoming figures at this year's New York Comic Con: Evil Dead 2's Ash Williams and Hellraiser 3's Pinhead! And while Pinhead has yet to be revealed at all, Ash's feminine makeover is detailed in an illustration.
