PLASEEBO's "Electro Doublethink Night Gamer" mash-up with TKOM's design!

Anyone else remember those classic Reese's Peanut Butter Cup ads that proclaimed "two great tastes that taste great together"? Well, riffing on that, I proclaim this piece to be two great artists that look great together! Using the body of Japanese artist Takahiro Komuro / TKom's 10⅕-inch tall "Doublethink" soft vinyl figure, which is based off of his 2-foot tall "Double Think" fiberglass statue, American creator Bob Conge creates a one-off piece with all the tricks we associate with his PLASEEBO custom work.
Glass eye inserts? Check. Filled with colored gels? Check. Internal, motion-activated, color-changing LED units? Check and check again. Even glow-in-the-dark parts? Oh, yes! Heck, the body even has some plastic worms and spiders coursing throughout it. Adding the head from his own "Night Gamer" onto the clear vinyl body with silver flecks, Conge hand-painted this piece with Monster Kolor sprays. Titled the "Electro Doublethink Night Gamer", this one-of-a-kind work will be available on Thursday, January 12th, 2017 in PLASEEBO’s online shop.
