Yoskay Yamamoto's "In Between the Dreams" Solo Exhibition at Giant Robot!

The stunning minimalist art of Yoskay Yamamoto will shift in direction for his upcoming In Between the Dreams solo exhibition, maintaining his simple aesthetic but incorporating a more experimental approach. Primarily expressed through "simple line paintings juxtaposed against more rendered painterly style polka dot sunset paintings," creating a "dreamscape-like setting that’s both inviting and comforting," Yamamoto will also incorporate some sculptures into the exhibit. A site-specific installation "that fits within his 'dreamscape'" will, in theory, include the above-pictured designer toy rendering of a globe. Displayed at Giant Robot 2 (GR2), we're sure this will be a memorable themed exhibition.

In Between the Dreams, a group exhibition, opens on Saturday, August 20th with a reception from 6:30-10 pm local time and runs through September 7th, 2016 at GR2, 2062 Sawtelle Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90025.
