P.P.Pudding × Angel Abby's "Journey to the West" Mini Figure Series!

Known simply as Monkey to American audiences, the 16th-century work Journey to the West is considered one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. So well-known, in fact, that P.P.Pudding has designed a series of four 3½-inch tall sofubi figures based on the main characters from the novel (pictured below, left to right): Monkey King or Sun Wukong, Monk Pig or Zhu Bajie, Friar Sand or Shā Wùjìng, and the Buddhist monk Xuanzang. All appear to have three points of articulation — neck and arms — and the Monkey King character even comes with his "somersault cloud," which in the novel enabled him to travel vast distances in a single leap. Being produced by Angel Abby, these finished prototype sculpts are entering the vinyl production phase now, so look out for a release in the near future!
