A Darth Vader & Voltes V Mash-up from JeAA for ToyCon PH!

Leave it to artist John Eugene Atendido Avila (or JeAA) to create an East meets West sci-fi mash-up: "Ultraelektromagnetic POp: The V Project." Borrowing elements not only from the dark lord of the Empire himself, Darth Vader, but also the Super Robot from Chōdenji Machine Voltes V (Super Electromagnetic Machine Voltes V), this original creation will debut in an exclusive edition at the upcoming ToyCon PH. Beyond the classic (and obvious) elements from film and television, there is also a harkening to the "urban vinyl" roots of our art movement in the stance and sculpted accessories affixed to the figure. For those of us unable to attend the convention, I surely hope that a regular release version of this fantastic character is forthcoming.
