Retroband & Trap Toys lead “Rhyme & Resin” at The Clutter Gallery!

An exploration into the urban landscape, “Rhyme & Resin” is a small group exhibition featuring the talents of Aaron Moreno of Retroband and the mysterious duo known as Trap Toys. Joined by Retroband’s frequent backing card artist Gabriel Hernandez (Worthy Enemies) and UK street artist 45rpm, this exhibition at The Clutter Gallery will be a must for action figure fans… especially those that love hip-hop.

Trap Toys has teased a piece that looks a lot like a certain popular eagle puppet blinged out in gold and wearing a Wu-Tang Clan cap, while Retroband has revealed card art for two New Jack City inspired figures: Wesley Snipes’s Nino Brown and Ice T’s Scotty Appleton. With both resin artists creating three new works in small run editions for the show, this is definitely one that will go quick and leave many longing for more! Hoping to score a piece?
