WHAT'S NEW

Frombies at NYCC 2015... and beyond!!!

The folks over at Frombies have been stacking their chips, prepping for the long run, and have been making big moves in order to get to the position they are in now... and it all comes to a head this October during NYCC 2015 as they plan on releasing a whole plethora of exclusives. But first, let's back up and talk about some rad stuff they have going on! A few months when they attended the Las Vegas Licensing Show. As a little fish in a gigantic pond, they were definitely one of the smallest brands showing at the expo... but seeing as they had their product in Walmart during the 2014 Back-to-School season (spotted in the photo below), that help solidify their standing amongst the rest of the companies!

They are now currently working with Acronym Digital, who are currently creating the very first FROMBIES interactive comic book app! It will be released on time for NYCC and will be available on the Apple, Google, and Kindle stores. This will be a new an exciting way for their fans to read and engage in their comic book series! NeonMob is also a new licensing partner since the Licensing Expo. They have a massive community that buys, collects, trades and sells digital artwork. Frombies will be one of their first licensed companies to be on their website, which is really exciting! In addition, they will also be releasing brand new trading cards that will come in a pack of 4. There will be 3 regular cards and 1 rare holographic card in each pack! They will retail for $2 per pack.

This year during NYCC, they are releasing 16 new collectible pins and have added another tier to the pricing category. Their new platinum tier will have more intricate style pins and will be a $10 retail price vs. the silver and gold price of $5-$7. The Robo Zora series was a big success when they first released her at WonderCon in 2011. Since then, they released 6 more color-ways and created a small fan base for the figure. They’ve gotten a lot of feedback from the customers and decided to produce a mini-robo Zora figure this year instead of the 6” figures. They will have an exclusive $15 retail price at the show and will come in three color-ways for her debut. The "Shogun Red" version and the GID “Glow-in-the-dark” version will be releasing at the show. The "Classic" white version will be an online release and will also be in some select retail stores. They will be limited to 300 pieces each color-way.

And, last but not least, they’re working with ASUS electronics company overseas to develop Frombie digital stickers for their Pic-Collage app as well as an awesome exclusive Frombie wallpaper/keyboard theme for their ZenFones. Frombie will be accessible to over 90 million ZenFones and in 18 countries... and they are also one of the first companies to be part of this program. A LOT more is in the works, so get ready for a Frombie tsunami very soon!
