Rivet presents: "Against The Grain" amazing wood work from Patrick Wayner!

Rivet Gallery is busy preparing for this weekend's new gallery exhibition... and it's an awesome one not to be missed! The show features work from artist Patrick Wayner... now, who's that you might be asking yourself?!? Well, he's new to use as well, but his artwork is super creative and we just had to share it with you all!!! The show is entitled "Against The Grain" and it will feature 3D creature art created using a scroll saw, in addition to a variety of wood working tools. All patterns being hand-cut and independently applied as well as color and hand-brushed line work were applied using multiple mediums... and if you look closely, you can see maps in there... so clever, and the animals look simply stunning!

The opening reception will be held Saturday, June 6th from 7-10pm with the artist in attendance and it will run until June 30th... oh, and with this event kicking off June, Rivet is also celebrating their 8th year anniversary... just another reason to head on out to the show!
