DeathCat Toys's sweater wearing OOAK of TKOM's "DoubleThink" for exhibition!

Johan Ulrich of DeathCat Toys hand-painted the pictured one-of-a-kind (OOAK) 11-inch tall "DoubleThink" soft vinyl figure, designed by fiberglass sculptor Takahiro Komuro / TKOM. Set to be displayed as part of an exhibition dedicated to Komuro's "DoubleThink" design, this piece features a wonderfully hand-crocheted cardigan sweater by Ulrich's wife, Lindsey. A perfect blending of quirky innocence and disturbing aspects, this unique art piece makes our mental mouths water to see more from the show.

The "DICHO TOMY " group exhibition, featuring strictly customs of Takahiro Komuro / TKOM's "DoubleThink" vinyl figure, will open on Saturday, February 21st with a reception from 7-10PM and be on display until March 14th, 2015 at Toy Art Gallery, 7571 Melrose Ave., Hollywood, CA 90046.
