PLASEEBO's custom "Toxic Candy Vertebrata” for Paul Kaiju × Toy Art Gallery Show!

Bob Conge of PLASEEBO continues to explore the realms of glow-in-the-dark and LED lighting with his one-of-a-kind "Toxic Candy Vertebrata" for the upcoming Toy Art Gallery 5th Anniversary Show. Taking the PaulKaiju designed soft Japanese vinyl figure, Conge filled the clear cast base with "toxic candy and glow in the dark spiders and such" as well as hand-painted the exterior. The piece is illuminated from within by two motion activated LED units (pictured below right), but glows great even without them (pictured below left)!
The "5th Toy Art Gallery Anniversary: Vertebrata Custom Show," a group exhibition, will open on Saturday, September 13th with a reception from 7-10PM and be on display until October 12th, 2014 at Toy Art Gallery, 7571 Melrose Ave., Hollywood, CA 90046.
