Mr. The Sanders's customized Nintendo R.O.B. as steampunk, automaton clock for "8-bit & Beyond 2!"

If you recall the classic Nintendo released R.O.B. (Robotic Operating Buddy), a cool looking video game controller, then you recall the disappointment at only two games ever being made for use with the unit. Mr. The Sanders obviously not only remembers the 9.6-inch tall figure, but wanted to do something new with it… Using it as the base, he cusomized it with found objects, sculpey, and a metallic surface treatment to result in "Once Upon a Game Time," an automaton with working clock! Standing 11-inches tall, this one-of-a-kind piece is available for only $200 from HERE in the Bottleneck Art Gallery's "8-bit & Beyond 2" exhibition page.
