alto's "A Ghost Is Born" custom T-Con creation for ToyCon UK's group show!

A minimalist interpretation of the ToyCon UK mascot "T-Con," an adorably pudgy tyrannosaurus rex in classic Godzilla pose, Chris 'alto' Dobson delivers something wholly unique, creative, and artistic to upcoming T-Con Custom Show: "A Ghost is Born." Which, as opposed to something traditionally spectral, is a minimalist reinterpretation of the design. As per Dobson:

I wanted to push the limits of what might actually constitute a custom. For some time now, I have been racking my brains as to how best convert my wireframe print designs into three dimensional form and I hope that this represents a successful translation — the seeming chaos of the mesh of rods revealing the ghostly form of the fantastic show mascot.

I would say, in my estimation, that he was quite successful indeed! The T-Con Custom Show will take place on Friday, November 1st, 2013 from 7-10PM local time at the Fleet River Bakery in London, England.
