Patrick Wong's "Lunkface of the Dominators" customs for Toy Burst group exhibition!

Continuing his previous direction, illustrator Patrick Wong grows his Dominators gang of Designer Toys, inspired by Sol Yurick's 1965 novel "The Warriors," with the addition of "Lunkface of the Dominators." Made as a matching set of a 3-inch and an 8-inch Dunny, Lunkface was made for the previously announced Toy Burst group exhibition and includes a stage depicting a subway station. The figure sports the Dominators gang attire — orange monkey jackets, brown hats, and sneakers — but also carries a real metal chain in his cleanly painted hands.

"Toy Burst," a group custom exhibition curated by MoreThanSunshine, opens on July 18th with a reception from 6-10PM local time and will remain on display until August 8th, 2013 at Redefine Gallery (at The City Arts Factory), 29 South Orange Ave., Orlando, FL 32801.
