As more and more New York Comic-Con based information starts trickling in, it seems that majority of it is actually for art shows occurring in the City during the convention weekend. At Kidrobot's New York store, there will be a one-night only art show of Star Wars themed customs, two-dimensional artwork and exclusives featuring the talents of Scott "
Forces of Dorkness" Kinnebrew and Jason "
Manly Art" Chalker.
"
Art Wars: A New Hope, Intergalactic Art Show" will only be available on October 11th, 2012 from 6-10PM at
Kidrobot NY, 118 Prince St., New York, NY 10012.

Brian Colin has produced a limited quantity of t-shirts using two of his designs: Camilla and Watership Down Syndrome (WDS). Both screenprinted images are available on thin, very soft, comfortable tees in Medium, Large and Extra Large. Camilla, a rendition of the mythical cockatrice, is a two-color design and is present on military olive green for $17 each while WDS is a three-color piece on charcoal grey for $20 each. Disney and might be an exclusive for the event… though since it is meant to be a showcase, it is more than likely the debut of the newest edition in CLOT's Disney figure line. We're told that underneath the see-thru body, that's a glow-in-the-dark skeletal system for Donald Duck. Wonderful…

Breaking Gifs, we have a collaboration between
Tristan Eaton and
Pretty in Plastic: the Heisenberg Skull & Crossbones. Available at the Gallery1988 show, these pieces measure 5-inches tall and 6-inches wide, cast in heavy-duty plastic and are limited to a mere 40 copies in black (pictured above) and 40 copies in yellow (pictured below). For such limited items, the price of $100 seems like a steal. And what're those "crystal blue" things next to the black ones above? Hmm… we're told we'll find out Monday!

Revisiting his "The Teddy" design for the first time since 2007, the Swiss/German artist
Dust is releasing his new "R.B.S. IV (Open Helmet Version)" next week. These 2.75-inch tall polyurethane (plastic) pieces are hand-painted by Dust and limited to a mere 10 copies worldwide. Expect more information (and pictures) to drop before they appear in
Dust's online shop.

We've been talking about how
Paul Shih is being represented at the STGCC (Singapore Toys, Games and Comics Convention)

HERE, but Shih wants us to focus on one thing: the butts. Yes, Shih's creations tend to have cute butts, it's true… so he'll be bringing the Butt-O-Rama button series with him as well as the exclusive Sushi Kaiju (pictured above and below) as well as the new Red Bevil colorway. Since we hadn't previously seen the Sushi Kaiju, it appears to have yellow highlights and a firmly yellow bum… so I'm guessing it will be the "Yellowtail Sushi Kaiju."

Mujuworld duo will be releasing a first wave of their Mini Guardian figures in both the Forest (pictured above) and Ocean colorways. Each of these 4.5-inch tall figures are hand-cast in "plant-based, non-toxic bio-resin" and then hand-painted, resulting in a limited amount being produced… we're told that only 8 copies of the Mini Forest Guardian will be available in this first release and we're assuming a similar number is true for the Mini Ocean Guardian. But fear not, Miss Muju has confirmed that they will be "plenty more Mini Guardians coming out of the studio this year!" The initial release of these figures will happen Monday, August 20th, 2012 at 5AM PST, and the pieces will cost a mere £28 (approx. $44) each in the
Mujuworld online shop.

Task One has unveiled the next three designs in his blind boxed "Dunny Town" custom series. Based on our experience with the 'first wave' for this series, these three designs will be sold blind box style around the end of the month (August 2012) in
Task One's online store. Based on what I'm seeing here, this is one of those amazing series that will just get better and better the further into it we are!
