It looks like the boys from
Monstrehero have teamed up with
Real x Head to release a special run of figures for SDCC 2012 this year... and from the looks of it, they adapted the vinyl body to fit a resin head, and it's pretty obvious why they are calling this one Leechface :-) No word on a release date, time, or price, but we will update you all when we find out!

Sucklord has turned his attention to
Star Trek. This backing card for the upcoming "Gay Enterprise" resin action figure, which will by Sucklord's 2012
San Diego Comic-Con exclusive, made me laugh quite a bit. And not just because this is one of the most infamous geek jokes on the web… heck, I'll bet there is more Kirk and Spock slash fan fiction out there than any other (but I'm not about to check, so I'll just assume I'm right). Do you want it? Of course you do, because "not everything is logical…"

The dynamite duo of
Real x Head and
GOCCODO have teamed up to bring you "Mutant Bearos," picutred above in the three unpainted colorways set to debut at
Wonder Festival on July 29th, 2012 in Japan. Like some strange hybrid of The Chaos Troopers and Winnie The Pooh, these weird creatures have the iconic Real x Head designed face & arm weapon only slightly concealing their adorable bear features, complete with hand caught in the honey pot. While there is no word on pricing, we are informed that there will be painted versions available in the future.
And while the "Mutant Bearos" is done in more of a kawaii style, the "Bearosman" will be straight up kaiju strangeness… As seen in the prototype sculpt above, Bearosman is a hyper-realistic interpretation of the grizzly bear mashed with The Chaos Trooper. Imagine that sick head attacked to a Chaos Trooper body with one massive bear arm to counter-balance the blaster hand. Prediction: It's going to be completely sick looking!

well teased, so disturbingly cute, so desirable. Leave me alone, I've got a thing for bunny-based designs, okay!?! These five glow-in-the-dark Bunnywith figures are sweet little 3-inch-tall bundles of joy that will exclusively be available at
DKE Toys's Booth #4728 during the 2012
San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). And I know what you're thinking: "There's no way I can afford these? They injection molded plastic, they each come with a corresponding screenprinted vinyl sticker, they each have a headercard on their wee little bag…" And they're only $5 each!!!
But here's the catch, DKE Toys will only be releasing each figure for one day! That's right…

We'd
previously teased about the upcoming Fonzo group custom show at
Freak Store and now we have our second "leaked" image for it:
Charles Rodriguez's piece. Rodriguez, regardless of his immense skill at sculpting & painting customs as well as Munnyworld wins, remains rather unknown to many people, which I consider a deep shame. He did an amazing job with this Fonzo platform, manipulating it into the design he wanted rather flawlessly. As for this group show, we now know that both Rodriguez and RunDMB are in it… which tells me that this is certainly a quality affair.

Italian artist Marco "
Bruscolino" Sgammotta has crafted this duo of rough hewn
art brut style sculpts which he then hand-cast as a limited run of 10 signed & numbered resin sets. Entitled "Melma & Baby Melma," I find it interesting that
melma is the Italian word for
mire (as in a swampy bog or marsh)… because their form and coloration did immediately summon images of frogs in my head, which are just the sort of slimy critters you'd find in a mire. While there is no word on price, if these pieces are to your liking and taste then you should dash an e-mail to
