Alto's "Evil Origami" is a twisted Dunny ready for resin!

Chris "alto" Dobson has taken the classic Dunny form and reinterpreted it into his own angular style, calling the resulting form "Evil Origami." Seen above is the 3D-printed prototype of the render, which Dobson plans to cast in resin for release in the near future. Though we're told this would be only the first step towards making a wider Alto universe, filled with wonderfully minimalist creations.

I'm going to ignore the possible questions of bootleg or not a bootleg, since — in the end — all I care about it is the fact that it looks bleeding cool… and it does! To keep up-to-date on what's happening with this project, give Dobson a follow on Twitter.

DrilOne's custom "Android Tank" for Dragatomi's blind-box SDCC 2012 series!

And the hits keep coming! We've been posting about Dragatomi's 50 blind box custom Android series for the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) and, it appears, the above are work-in-progress shots of DrilOne's contribution. Not only do the treads work on this "Android Tank" but the gasmasked pilot is none other than "Titus the Bear" from RocketWorld's I.W.G. (Insurgent Wilderness Gruppo) mini series. I'm loving the look of this piece, which shouldn't be a surprise… the design is right up my alley! The blind boxed series will be available at Dragatomi's SDCC Booth (#4935) for $80 each, though we don't know which day it will drop yet…

The guys over at Rotobox Vinyl are heading back to SDCC this year with their guns fully loaded... figuratively and literally as they are proud to announce the release of their next vinyl figure "Revolver Girl 6ix" - Barenaked Edition. This figure, spotted in raw vinyl HERE, and based on the OG Celsius platform features the same body/head shape... the only thin I can see different is the addition of hair. 8" NYPD & LAPD custom FATCAP's from SketOne

Artist SketOne just announced a really cool custom run of 8" FatCaps's... which by the way are based off his original 20" custom completed in 2006 for Kidrobot's "Paintball Show", then reproduced as a production figure for FatCap Series 2... and now re-re-produced as a custom run... things come full circle :-) Available on 6/22/12 at 12pm EST, these rad looking, fully functional 8" NYPD & LAPD custom FatCaps will be up for grabs via Sket's online store HERE. There are only 10 of each style produced worldwide and each one comes signed and numbered.

I gotta say that the best part about these customs is the functionality... the fact that it includes a working light that shines and rotates is awesome... and will be a true beacon for any designer toy collection, literally! Each one also comes with a custom billy club accessory, and a custom crash guard... SWEET! Sket pulled out all the stops for this release, and I am really diggin what I am seeing!

T.H.U.G. StormHammer "DEATH MILITIA" edition

A while back we posted up some post-apocalyptic looking vinyl figures called "T.H.U.G." created by Unison Lab of Chile... it looks like they have been busy creating more new characters in their ever expanding universe and they have just announced a new colorway of their "THUG-SH" STORMHAMMER figure... the "DEATH MILITIA UNIT" edition! It measures 8" tall and is made from soft 100% ECO-FRIENDLY VINYL. It has 2 points of articulation, and comes with an enclosed swappable handset... DRILL, ROBOT HAND PILLS, and HAMMER! This green/black colorway is set to retail for $100 a piece... it is a large chunk of vinyl, and it if were $80, that would make it a little easier to swallow... nonetheless, it's a cool looking figure and will be available in most designer vinyl toy retail locations very soon! Kidrobot's Dunny Series 2012 Completely & Utterly Revealed!

The fine folks of Clutter have shared the above design sheet from Kidrobot's 3" Dunny Series 2012 and, as opposed to earlier ones seen, this one includes all the variants with ratios! That being said, hit the jump to see the full reveal!
Top Row: "Mahākāla" (regular/black) by Andrew Bell (1/80), "Mahākāla" (variant/red) by Andrew Bell (1/80), "Jonahone Giraffe" by D. Ross "Scribe" (3/40), "Ninja Spiki" by Nakanari (1/40), and "Sayonara" by Jeremiah Ketner (3/40).

Second Row: "Ping" by Mauro Gatti (3/40), "Pong" by Mauro Gatti (3/40), "untitled" (regular/white) by Jon-Paul Kaiser (1/20), "untitled" (variant/red) by Jon-Paul Kaiser (1/60), "untitled" (variant/blue) by Jon-Paul Kaiser (1/60), and "untitled" (variant/green) by Jon-Paul Kaiser (1/60).

Third Row: "untitled" by Kronk (1/160), "Project: Dunny" by Sergio Mancini (2/20), "Vandal Dunny" by MAD (2/20), and "Purple Soda Girl" by Junko Mizuno (3/160).

Bottom Row: "The Sword Swallower" by Triclops Studio (2/20), "The Dead Astronaut" by Pac23 (2/20), "Wiggle Land" (regular/pink) by Tara McPherson (7/80), "Wiggle Land" (variant/black) by Tara McPherson (1/80), and "untitled" by Attaboy (1/40).
Now, the earlier released design sheet did list the regular "Mahākāla" design by Bell as being 1/40 & not 1/80, the regular Jon Paul Kaiser design as being 2/20 & not 1/20, and the pink "Wiggle Land" by Tara McPherson as 2/20 & not 7/80… We've posted pictures of all the actual production figures already, most of which can be seen HERE. In addition, you can view both "Wiggle Land" figures by McPherson HERE, Ketner's "Sayonara" HERE, the JonPaul Kaiser's HERE and HERE, and the red Bell variant HERE. Heck, we even posted a teaser of the Sucklord designed case exclusive Dunny HERE.

****UPDATE****
Thanks to artist Sergio Mancini, who received his AP case of Dunny's for this 2012 series, we have actual photos of the boxes with know ratios on them. So without a doubt, this is what you can expect... other than that, all other ratios are still unknown.
