previously announced that
Super7 were throwing their 11th Anniversary Party tonight and unleashing the 2012 Super7 Lucky Bags during it. Each Lucky Bag will have nine figures contained in a reusable tote (pictured below)… but what might they hold? Randomly inserted into each will be custom hand-painted figures, unpainted test shots & prototypes, new sculpt debuts, and some "unexpected surprises" as well! Each bag will cost $300 and be limited to one per customer, with sales starting tonight at the Party for attendees only at 7PM. Not able to make it? Any unsold Lucky Bags will be placed on the
Super7 web store tonight at 10PM PST.
The "Super7 11th Anniversary Party" will be on Saturday, June 9th starting at 7PM and held at

Fantastically fantastical sculptor
Meredith Dittmar will soon be taking Hollywood by storm… or, at least, the space in it known as the
Toy Art Gallery. Opening on June 16th, "Transmutations" is a solo art show of her polymer clay creations known lovingly as 'My Guys,' characterized by their rich colors, wonderfully crafted forms, and ubiquitous natures.
"Transmutations" opens on June 16th with a reception from 7-10PM and will remain available for viewing until June 30th at
Toy Art Gallery (TAG), 7571 Melrose Ave., Hollywood, CA 90046.

Frank Kozik has teamed up once again with the boys over at Blink-182 to release a very limited edition gig poster... in fact, this is for tonight's show in London at the 02 Arena. There are only 350 pieces of these being made, and can be picked up from the gig or from Kozik himself... and that's it! The poster measures 35" x 22.5 " and is a 8 color silkscreen on 140 lb paper. Kozik will have 100 of these up for grabs

Recently completed for the upcoming "Custom Custom Show" being held at
Dream in Plastic TONIGHT June 9th 2012, it the above fantastic custom from
Mr. Den! Based on the Yoka Bear vinyl toy platform, Den transformed this beast into one of the characters from Maurice Sendak's 'Where the Wild Things Are'... and hot damn did he do an amazing job! Mr. Den is really coming into his own, so to speak, with his most recent customs. Applying the rivets, metal flashings, and turning classic characters into machine like creatures really is... well, it's riveting! If you are in the Beacon, New York area... be sure to swing by the show to see this piece, as well as many others in person!

Italian outsider artist
The Sense has shared with us this Teddy Trooper custom that perfectly exemplifies his art brut ("raw art") style, filled with rough lines that seem deliberately placed. Alas, no information accompanied the submission and it is not present on his website, so everything from the title to the availability remains a mystery. The shocks of white do perfectly stand out against the vinyl color and those thick strands of hair remind me of something out of a Japanese horror film (like
Ju-on, aka
The Grudge). While I'm personally not a fan of this rough hewn style, I can certainly respect the artistic force behind it and see the talent of the direction.
