These hand-crafted customs will be completely hand-painted, signed by all the artists, and feature all the Skullendario Azteca feaures you've come to know & love: adorned with Swarovski crystals, a hand-assembled flag accessory, and — of course — the laser engraved wooden crate container. Lord Magma will be available, on The Beast Brothers's web store, from Friday, June 22nd at 1PM EST until Saturday, June 23rd at 1PM EST, each one costing $475 plus shipping. Gary Taxali's "Wild Forever" Maurice Sendak tribute print!

It seems that the Maurice Sendak Retrospected we announced yesterday isn't the only one's fondly remembering the lovable creator… Gary Taxali was commissioned by the New York Times to create the above image, celebrating Sendak's life and career. Taxali has issued this "Wild Forever" image as Digital Print on Arches paper, signed & numbered in an edition of 200. And while I really love this piece, he's asking $200CAN (roughly the same in U.S. Dollars) for the 21.3" x 26.5" print; which, to me, is far too much for a digital print… if it had been done as a five-color silkscreen, that would be reasonable, but a digital? If, unlike me, you can't live without this piece, it is currently available HERE.

Luke Chueh x Munky King - SDCC 2012 exclusive "Target" figure revealed!!!

We previously reported on this piece several months back, but now there's a bit more information… the Luke Chueh designed "Target" figure from Munky King will be making it's retail debut at San Diego Comic-Con.... and until now we have just been seeing teasers! Today, Luke just revealed the SDCC 2012 exclusive version of this 8" tall vinyl figure... and as you can see... this particular version is somewhat of an homage to the big box retailer "Target" with the red paint... RAD! The figure will feature a removable base, paint can and even brush and the box will feature the original Chueh painting. Rumor has it that there will be an exclusive "color variation with hand drawn wall graffiti by" Chueh himself. No word on a run number or a price just yet... but it's time to get excited, this looks fantastic!

New "Lucky Dollar" Jeremyville figure in the works!

Recently posted via his Facebook page, Jeremyville showed off the 3D artwork created by the folks over at Bigshot Toyworks, for a new project/figure of his "Lucky Dollar" character. This figure has been seen in alot of Jeremyville's work in the past, from mostly illustrative iterations, to even a very small figure that was produced by Kidrobot for the "Thoughts In Jeremyville" mini-figure series that was released back in 2010 (seen to the left). This new figure however, if produced, will be a much larger, more detailed version... and will have more cartoon like characteristics to support the design. Not much is know other that what we have posted, but once we figure out more info... you will be the first to know.

Kidrobot's 2012 Dunny Series... revealed!!!!

We have been posting up teasers, ratios sheets, and reveals of the upcoming Kidrobot Dunny 2012 series for the past few weeks, and today Kidrobot let the cat out of the bag... officially!!! This series features 20 designs by 14 artists, all of which look really amazing in the flesh. Up until now, we have seen very little actual photographs of this Dunny 2012 series, and now, seeing them not as vector art is a very welcome sight! There is a mixture of new and old designers in this series... and as you can see, Kidrobot is holding true to their previous few releases by pushing the envelope when it comes to added production... notably, the 4 armed monster by Andrew Bell, the tall giraffe by Scribe, the transparent winged insect by Attaboy, the spraycan ears from MAD, the sword swallower by Triclops, and that Junko Mizuno piece with removable headdress/hair... seriously cool!!!! The artist list, along with known ratios includes: Triclops Studio (2/20), Pac23 (2/20), Tara McPherson (2/20), MAD (2/20), Jeremiah Ketner (3/40), D. Ross "Scribe" (3/40), Andrew Bell (1/40), Sergio Mancini (2/20), Attaboy (1/40), Nakanari (1/40), two pieces by Mauro Gatti (3/40 each), Kronk (?/??), Junko Mizuno (?/??), and the Jon-Paul Kaiser mystery figure (2/20).

oh, and we are just now finding out that while supplies last and at select locations, get your hands on an exclusive Dunny by SUCKLORD... yup, you heard it right!!!! The Super Sucklord will have his own production Dunny, or should I say Dumny :-) This will be available for those who purchase a case... and rumor has it, there may also be a SDCC release of said Dunny as well... all speculation right now, but who knows with KR! This series is set to hit the shelves June 21, and each figure retails for $9.95. So now that you have seen them, what do you think?

BOOM!!!! Jesse Hernandez x Pobber Toys "Jaguar Knight" final wax sculpt revealed!!!

Hot off the heels of our last, very revealing, post HERE... Jake over at Pobber Toys was impressed with our sleuthing and he sent over the full reveal of the next figure designed by Jesse Hernandez... the "Jaguar Knight"!!!! Above are the wax model shots, the step right before the final molding process, of this really cool looking Urban Aztec inspired figures. The Jaguar Knight stands 9" tall, comes with a war shield and a macahuitl (club like spiked weapon) and is set to drop before the end 2012... so you have plenty of time to save! The sculpt is just ridiculous, and I just love how Jesse's 2D work transfers to 3D so well... I absolutely love that skull like mask/helmet!!!! Now... I can't wait to see some colorways on this piece!!!! More very soon!

ServeEm's Munny & Dunny set for Custom Toy Union trade!

Over on the Custom Toy Union boards, there was recently a one-off custom trade group put together expressly for the making of a 4" Mini Munny and 3" Dunny set. Pictured above is ServeEm's creation for the task, which ended up in the hands of Scott Kinnebrew… which should make Kinnebrew quite happy, the owner of a fantastic set. ServeEm was inspired by the tribal characters in the film Ace Venture: When Nature Calls, creating a duo tribe members using epoxy clay and acrylics on the base platforms to create these wonderfully detailed characters. I especially love the little wicker basket, which can not only house the Dunny but fits snuggly on the Munny's back.

THARP's "Broozr" plush available during the Warped Tour & SDCC 2012!

THARP's Ohiya project have been quite busy of late, as it seems they've produced an exclusive version of the "Broozr" plush (from the Zombuddiez collection) for the band I Wrestled A Bear Once, which will only be sold in the band's tent during the 2012 Warped Tour. And that's not all… we hear there's a very special plan involving the "Broozr" design for this year's San Diego Comic-Con as well. In the end, who wouldn't want an army of plush zombie bears to call their own? So the more versions, the better.

Jesse Hernandez x Pobber Toys - New sculpt teaser of Jesse's "Jaguar Knight" Urban Aztec figure

Fans of Jesse Hernandez had better start saving their money for the second half of this year because it appears that not only does Jesse have a new figure with Kuso Vinyl - 'Miquiztlicoatl' the Death Serpent - but just announced yesterday with the very revealing teaser above, he also has a figure coming out with Pobber Toys... and it looks just as EPIC as the rest of Jesse's Urban Azteca figures! Now, all we know is that the full reveal will be coming soon and that other details will soon surface as well... but that was not enough for us, so we did some digging! Upon further investigation we recalled his upcoming Mini 10-Doh! "Aztec Jaguar" figure that we posted up HERE, which seems to be very similar to the above figure... but we even found more, as we recalled a print that Jesse did a while back of his "Jaguar Knight" (left) and ding, ding, ding... we have a winner folks! That print is spot on, and is something that you can come to expect from this figure! Pobber does an amazing job with the production of their figures, so expect greatness from this one. More on it very soon... but what are your thought?

DrilOne's custom Lil'G Mini Boombox for SpankyStokes group show!

If you were into tagging in the '80s then you remember bringing your boombox with you, plopping it down on the streets, and — inevitably — getting some stray paint splashed drizzled upon it. DrilOne's custom resin "Lil'G Mini Boombox," for the upcoming Boombox-tastic Custom Show, absolutely reminds me of those days, especially with those sculpted graffiti arrows incorporated into the design. But the best part must be the back, with the phrase "I Can't Live Without My Radio" affixed to it… for those that don't recall, this was a huge song by LL Cool J at the time (watch the video HERE) and it most certainly was a love song to the boombox, making it even more appropriate.

The "Boombox-tastic Custom Show" will be exclusively available online starting June 13th at SpankyStokes.com. Participating artists include: Abigale Bedwell, Alex Raveland, Ardabus Rubber, Chris Dyer, DrilOne, Jared Moraitis, Jasin Dollin, SpankyStokes, Josh Marlar, Slurg, Miss Zukie, MotorBot, Quiz71, Rsin, Ryon Xavior Smith, and Uncle.

Two new PodgyPanda x Cris Rose custom Podgonauts!

It seems like quite a while since we've seen a new Podgonaut, the resin cast figure collaboration between PodgyPanda and Cris Rose. But Podgy's been a busy panda, creating two delicious looking customs using the base form… Pictured above, we have the "Chocolate Sundae Podgonaut," who seems to be a very messy eater, dripping chocolate sauce from under his protective dome. And yes, he does come with that fantastic looking sundae accesory. Then, pictured below, we have the "Lotus Bun Podgonaut" who looks so happy to have that yummy treat on his head (though it is removable and you can place it wherever you want).

Both are a unique, one-off 3" resin customs that will be available in the PodgyPanda web shop tomorrow, June 7th at 6PM London time for $180 each. Interested parties should be prepared to act quickly, as previous custom Podgonauts have been snatched up in under a minute!

Stuart Witter's custom "Harry the Cyclops" Munny is fantastically amazing!

The ever-impressive custom work of Stuart "Stu" Witter has a new addition, inspired by the classic stop-motion animation work of Ray Harryhausen: "Harry the Cyclops." The single tone skin color with occasional highlight marks give this piece a lot of room to shine without being too busy, especially with that wonderfully sculpted head. What starting out as a Bub figure was crafted into the brilliant 5" beast shown above.
Even the small dots for nipples, the simply illustrated scar on the back of his head, and the furry hindquarters with hooved feet all look picture perfect. This piece is currently available in Witter's online shop for £100 (approx. $155) HERE… and I certainly envy the lucky person that buys it!

Hoakser's custom "Sloblife" Munny is a tattooed TV addict!

Made by merging the body of a Trikky with the TV set from The Simpsons series, UK artist Hoakser turns his sharp, parody-laden mind towards the most controversial of topics: the growing slothfulness in our society. It obviously took a lot of sculpting work to mash the two pieces together, but even more to turn the Trikky form into that of a dangerously overweight man; those 'man boobs' being disturbingly perfect. This 5.7" figure features an array of tattoos on him, including: "Your Name" on his butt, "Love" on his knuckles, a tribal pattern around his arm, and the phrase he's named after emblazoned on his belly… "Sloblife." Tiny laminated prints can be interchangeably slide into the TV screen position, though my personal favorite — and probably most appropriate — is "Keep Calm and Do Nothing!" This "Sloblife" piece is available in Hoakser's online shop for £55 (approx. $85) HERE.
