Selph ESPVisuals & Eyefeelsick's custom Dudebox Dude as a bong!

There's an old adage: "Smoke 'em if ya got 'em!" And while this custom 7" Dude doesn't come with any dried herbs to put in that bowl, it is — we're told — fully functioning (please note: we're certain it was only tested with perfectly legal smoking tobacco, we swear!). Created by Selph ESPVisuals & Eyefeelsick, this piece made it's debut during the Dudebox launch party in London last week. While that sweet rusted metal exterior perfectly mimics an old WWII fighter plane, with those yellow invasion stripes and (not pictured) stamped 'kill marks' for bong hits, it also reminds me of what some things looked like after staying too long in a dorm room during college. The tethered skull inside the bong bulb is a great touch and it supposedly bobs up-and-down when you inhale.

Zukie's custom Lil'G Mini Boombox for SpankyStokes group show!

Alison "Zukie" Perez let her inner b-girl loose for this custom resin "Lil'G Mini Boombox" for the upcoming Boombox-tastic Custom Show. I love those sharp pastel colors — completely reminiscent of the '80's, the heyday of the boombox — and the fat bubble word bomb on top reminds me of the graffiti I used to walk past constantly during that same time period. The black trim on the tape deck, speaker grills, and buttons just really make the other colors pop off the surface. The only downside of this fantastically retro piece is that the three Zukie figures shown aren't included…

The "Boombox-tastic Custom Show" will be exclusively available online starting June 13th at SpankyStokes.com. Participating artists include: Abigale Bedwell, Alex Raveland, Ardabus Rubber, Chris Dyer, DrilOne, Jared Moraitis, Jasin Dollin, SpankyStokes, Josh Marlar, Slurg, Miss Zukie, MotorBot, Quiz71, Rsin, Ryon Xavior Smith, and Uncle.

Banksy makes a statement about UK Child Labour Laws!

Appearing on the side of Poundland on Whymark Avenue, Turnpike Lane, London, we have what certainly appears to be a new piece by Banksy. An obvious statement on child labour within England, an underage child diligently works at his sewing machine creating rows of Union Jacks for the Queen's upcoming 60th Jubilee.
