Neese's Munny Bunny limited edition custom is fluffy & fantastic!

If you've ever closely examined DMS's web shop, then you've noticed the title "Monsters & Mecha"… DMS certainly has the mecha covered, but monsters?!? Not so much; and that's where his equally talented wife Neese comes in, for she is the crafter of many an adorable monstrosity. Pictured above is her newest creation — her first proper custom — the "Munny Bunny," which is limited to only 10 copies being made. Each 7"-tall Munny has been painted a soft matt cream color before having the fluffy faux fur carefully applied, in three different tones to give variation to the finished product: honey colored for the main body, a cottony white for the tail, and a cream (matching the paint) for the belly & inner ears. The eyes are cut vinyl for that perfect look and the ears are fully posable! Neese did a fantastic job turning the hard vinyl of a Munny into this huggable 10"-tall (including ears) bunny. With only 10 up for grabs, I can't imagine these $99.99 customs will last long when they drop tomorrow (Friday, April 27th); so set your alarms, kids, and cross your fingers… they drop HERE at an undisclosed time.

Circus Posterus peeks: Teodoru Badiu, Kathie Olivas & Brandt Peters!

It's unfortunately been a while since we'd heard anything about Teodoru Badiu's Wippo that's set to be released by Circus Posterus, but no more! As you can see above, we've got a 3D render of the prototype… a render that was then made using 3D printing technology and that print was used to make the final mold out of. While we don't know the date of release yet, it's our understanding that the painting of the resin run is in progress.
And as we previously announced, the above are the 3D renders for Kathie Olivas's Caliopi Jackelope and Brandt Peters's Stingy Jack figures. We already knew they were being made into sofubi vinyl releases, but we now understand both designs will also have a resin run.

Yosiell Lorenzo's "The Wounded Sicklings" are sick… in a good way!

Yosiell Lorenzo's Sicklings return with their newest unhealthily hip iteration: The Wounded Sicklings. These resin cast 4.5"-tall figures have sustained serious injuries, but worry not… they've been all bandaged up by the unlicensed Dr. Lorenzo and each has been given a healing elixir to use if need be. Ten of these little guys have been lovingly made, with an eleventh that was given extra special treatment: the albino one-off, shown above on the right, is a custom Sickling. Each and every one comes in a custom made packaging and the first five — along with the one-off — drop into Lorenzo's online shop tomorrow (Friday, April 27th) at 11AM PST. They will cost $175 each, with the one-off being $250. The remaining five Wounded Sicklings will be hobbling their way to the OhNo!Doom Gallery for the "Relentless" group show opening May 12th.

Josh Mayhem's PLAYSAM custom for the show at Super7!

This could be my favorite of Josh Mayhem's Askew Rangers customs to date: "Capt. Havoc w/ Playsam Battlecruiser," a Playsam Streamliner Classic for the upcoming "PLAYSAM 500" group show at Super7. Not only does it feature a removable 3" custom Cat Qee but the vehicle itself has three working spring-loaded missiles and a refillable butane lighter afterburner. Heck, I really like the look of the rear treads here… just works so nicely.

"PLAYSAM 500" opens on April 28th at Super7, 1427 Haight St. (@ Masonic), San Francisco, CA 94117. Participating artists include: Andrew Bell, Arbito, Clayton Bailey, Dacosta!, Super Cooper Berella, Beast Brothers, Betso, Kat Brunegraff, 64 Colors, Carson Catlin, DrilOne, Tristan Eaton, Brian Flynn, George Gaspar, Paul Greenwood, Gary Ham, Greglovestoast, Nathan Hamill, Jay222, Walter “Chauskoskis” Jacott, Jryu, Jeremiah Ketner, Paul Kaiju, Aya Kakeda, Frank Kozik, Josh Herbolsheimer, Travis Lampe, Matthew Langille, Josh Mayhem, Sarah Lunabee Miskelly, Frank Mysterio, Motorbot, Ritzy Periwinkle, Plaseebo, Patricio Oliver, Task One, Dave Pressler, Reactor 88, Jason “Aka Big Money” Rodan, Jermaine Rogers, Cris Rose, Scribe, Rsin Art, Ardabus Rubber, Skinner, Bwana Spoons, John “Spanky” Stokes, Steve Talkowski, Cameron Tiede, Scott Tolleson, Vise One, Angie Vtec, Ben Walker, Adam Washburn, The Air Rat, Julie West, Kevin Winnik, Nicholas Woodworth... and many others!

DrilOne's custom Mega Munny for Ford's Go Further Kidrobot Munny event!

From what we can tell, the above pics are of a Mega Munny that DrilOne is preparing for Ford's upcoming Go Further live painting event in cooperation with Kidrobot (which we originally announced HERE). Love the look of it, especially the exposed rib cage… but I am curious if the Skelve mask is actually going to be part of the final design or just something he threw on for fun for this photo. A Skelve / Mega Munny mash-up is long past due, actually…
*** UPDATE *** DrilOne informs us that the Skelve mask is for another commission and he merely placed on here for fun. Honestly, I think it looks so perfect that he needs to make a proper one!

In addition, the light inside the candy shop actually works! The "NUGGLIFE Candy Shop" is available for purchase from Tenacious Toys for $600 HERE.

Amanda Visell's new series of resin mini figures!

Above are two teaser pics from Amanda Visell's forthcoming series of resin mini figures. I love that she's translating her iconic style into something more affordable for the average fan and she seems committed to the idea, stating that the first wave will consist of 5 figure designs with an equally sized second wave coming out roughly a month later. She's tentatively expecting to release the first wave tomorrow, on Friday, April 27th, but it's best to follow her Twitter feed for updates on the matter.

Gary Ham's piece for Supahcute's show at Leanna Lin's Wonderland!

This wonderful looking wooden deer sculpture by Gary Ham was created for the upcoming Supahcute Dream Team group show. And I'd say it qualifies as super cute indeed! I really love the angular, slightly abstract nature of the design. And making the deer pink? Totally adorable! *** UPDATE *** Ham confirms that this is still a work-in-progress, so I can't wait to see what he still has planned to make this a finished piece!

"Art Too Cute For Words," curated by Supahcute, opens on May 12th and runs through June 24th at Leanna Lin's Wonderland, 5024 Eagle Rock Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90041. Huck Gee's "Copter Boy" custom Munny available now!

Long before there was the now legendary Hotaru Copter Squad there was simply "Copter Boy" who, with his sister's help, introduced a revolutionary and last minute innovation that turned out to be pivotal in the battle for Mount Shirokuri. The siblings, strapped into their magical, flying contraptions, rained fire down on the enemy, spreading fear and breaking ranks wherever they flew. The tale of Whiskers the Wizard's bumbling stablehands and their preposterous flying experiments turning the tide of that battle is an unbelievable yet jovial chapter in the history of The Three Wars.
This brand new Huck Gee custom, entitled Hotaru Copter Squad "Copter Boy," looks wonderful. His copter pack and goggle accessories are amazing, and the inclusion of some fireworks and the little bird on top are just beautiful. This figure is signed, numbered, comes with all shown accessories, is limited to only 10 pieces, costs $875, and is available now. Interested parties should e-mail sales [at] huckgee [dot] com ASAP to reserve a figure and arrange payment.

Andrew Bell's "Woodrow" PLAYSAM custom for the show at Super7!

When we first teased pictures of Andrew Bell's custom Playsam Streamliner Classic for the upcoming "PLAYSAM 500" group show at Super7, we thought there was a lot of promise in the design and were eager to see the result. Man, we weren't eager enough! Look at that thing. Standing 8" tall, Bell has seamlessly crafted the car into a sad person's head. The mini Playsam he built for the figure as an accessory is truly a stroke of genius!

"PLAYSAM 500" opens on April 28th at Super7, 1427 Haight St. (@ Masonic), San Francisco, CA 94117. Participating artists include: Andrew Bell, Arbito, Clayton Bailey, Dacosta!, Super Cooper Berella, Beast Brothers, Betso, Kat Brunegraff, 64 Colors, Carson Catlin, DrilOne, Tristan Eaton, Brian Flynn, George Gaspar, Paul Greenwood, Gary Ham, Greglovestoast, Nathan Hamill, Jay222, Walter “Chauskoskis” Jacott, Jryu, Jeremiah Ketner, Paul Kaiju, Aya Kakeda, Frank Kozik, Josh Herbolsheimer, Travis Lampe, Matthew Langille, Josh Mayhem, Sarah Lunabee Miskelly, Frank Mysterio, Motorbot, Ritzy Periwinkle, Plaseebo, Patricio Oliver, Task One, Dave Pressler, Reactor 88, Jason “Aka Big Money” Rodan, Jermaine Rogers, Cris Rose, Scribe, Rsin Art, Ardabus Rubber, Skinner, Bwana Spoons, John “Spanky” Stokes, Steve Talkowski, Cameron Tiede, Scott Tolleson, Vise One, Angie Vtec, Ben Walker, Adam Washburn, The Air Rat, Julie West, Kevin Winnik, Nicholas Woodworth... and many others!

Noferin's Jibibuts Revealed: Buff Monster, Tado, 64 Colors, Peskimo & more!

We revealed the first 7 designers in the upcoming Jibibuts: Artist Collection just a couple of days ago, but now we can show you all 12 participating artists and their designs: Bubi Au YeungMartin HsuSquinkPeskimoBuff MonsterAnna ChambersTadoAndrea Kang, Leo Hillier, 64 Colors, Nathan Jurevicius, and — of course — Jibibuts creator Noferin. Each piece is blind boxed, but the 12 blind boxes per case will include one of each design. The release date is announced as "soon, soon" by Noferin, but we can assume the figures are the 2.5" to 3.5" size of the original series and will probably cost around the same $8.99 per blind box (possibly more, though).
