The "Sea-Borgs" are here from MonsterPants Toys!!!

What do you get when you cross sea creatures with borgs... isn't it obvious, "Sea-Borgs" of course and the first three Sea-Borgs are available now as 4.5" plastic resin figures from MonsterPants Toys. All are handmade and packaged by filmmaker, writer and artist James Felix McKenney. The toys are can be purchased individually for $20 each or $50 for the set of three at the MonsterPants Shop HERE! From the looks of it, the casting seems pretty great, and the resin is super clear.

Grody Shogun x Ferg - 'Young Gohst' teaser pictures

More Squadt news... and why not?!?! Remember our teaser post HERE and HERE.. well, we are getting the inside scoop from the man himself, Ferg, as he shares with us more shots of his awesome collab that is in the works with Luke over at Grody Shogun. Titled 'Young Gohst', these 3" toys will be made in Japanese sofubi out of various combos of clears/colors. The brain/brain-stem/tongue piece goes inside the figure and the tongue sticks out through a hole behind the teeth... an awesome idea, and as you can see from the pictures in this post, they are making some serious headway!!!! I really love the fact that Ferg continues to push the limits on toy production, as I can't remember inserted skeletal pieces ever breaking thorough and being visible outside the main figure... this little guys is going to be awesome! Oh, and yes that is a clear with a clear insert to the left... AWESOME!!!! More news when we get it!

Ajee x K.Olin tribu - Kosplay in Porcelain!!!

K.Olin tribu just announced their latest venture in the world porcelain... and this go around they have teamed up with Ajee to release her super stylized "Kosplay" figure set in beautiful white Limoges Porcelain. K.Olin tribu mentions that this project is one of the most complex figures they ever done... but the results do not show the difficulty as it's flawless! Kosplay includes two parts: a bear and a female character, where each piece is handmade and meticulously crafted! The bear stands 4.3" tall, where the female character stands almost 8" tall... making for an amazing looking set! Each Kosplay comes in two wooden boxes (one for each character), and each figure is numbered as well... oh, and there are only 12 piece of this edition being made, so they are highly limited! 10" tall "Mousemask Murphy" figures by Ron English

So check this out... today over on the Garage Works website, we are treated with a new teaser image of an upcoming figure from none other than Ron English as he has taken his "Mousemask Murphy" figure to the next level... in a very BIG way! Standing at over 10" tall, this comes in the "International" color edition which is the OG yellow and red and also in the Japan "ZacPac" Gray tone edition. According to the website, these are pretty limited so only 2 figures can be sold per customer... and seeing as they are selling for $140 each, I can see them being snatch up pretty quickly!!!! Fuller takes on Batman's foes… Custom Munny DC rogues gallery!

Fuller Designs is at it again! And this time he's customized two 4" munnys as some of Batman's most feared (though not as well known as others) villains: Scarecrow and Killer Croc. Both look fantastic, having a detailed but extremely clean paint job applied. And the addition of all Scarecrow's accessories was a stroke of genius. If you're a comic fan & custom collector, or just need something for your Batman action figure to fight with, then I'd say you can't really do better that these!
The set of both is currently available in Fuller's web shop HERE for the price of $250, which seems reasonable given the amount of time and effort that surely went into making this unique pieces.

Viniloeater's faux wooden custom for the Play Imaginative x Disney Mickey Mouse show!

Yes, another wonderful piece for the Play Imaginative x Disney group show of Mickey Mouse customs. The above contribution is by Viniloeater and I adore that faux wooden finish he built up on it… but not as much as the concept of something that looks like a wooden toy is holding an rather modern looking figure; it's a weird contrasts area that just really 'pops' for me. While the single glass eye looks magnificently incorporated into the whole, I gotta say that it seems out of place to me and more an afterthought. If he had stuck with more traditional small glass eyes, I think it might've gelled better in my mind. And yet, overall, this remains an absolutely stunning piece.

The Beast Brothers x Huck Gee's Ivory Warrior Skullandario update!

We've been informed that the 8" Ivory Warrior Skullendario Azteca custom dunny collaboration between The Beast Brothers & Huck Gee are now all complete and have shipped to those lucky enough to have purchased one. Now that they've been completed, some previously unreported aspects have been released:

• The custom sculpted head, tongue and Huck Gee's kanji accessories were all hand-cast in resin.
• Hand-painted and adorned with Swarovski Crystals.
• Wear a custom-made faux leather suit.
• "Skullendario" symbol printed on fabric flag attached to a real wooden pole.
• Unique fabric pads were placed on the head joints for easy movement and positioning.
• Come packaged in a 100% hand-made wooden crate with laser engraved "Skullandario" symbol on the cover.
• Signed by both Huck Gee and The Beast Brothers on each foot.

And a strange little teaser message accompanied the above information: "And if your Ivory Warrior wants to battle for the crown he will get his chance mid-April......" Is there more in store for those that bought these beauties?

BASK's "Because Art Should Kill" handmade stickers from 1xRUN!

Remember when we mentioned that the fantastic BASK would be releasing a special "Camping with the Mole-Man" print through 1xRUN this Friday, March 30th at 12 Noon EST? No? You can read about it HERE to catch up… But for those that do remember, 1xRUN have just announced the above pictured "Because Art Should Kill" hand-made stickers by BASK. But what does one have to do with the other?
We've heard a rumor that all orders for the "Camping with the Mole-Man" prints (regular and hand-embellished editions) will come with these stickers as an extra surprise. Mind you, this is a rumor and not be taken as fact; but, if it's true, those prints just achieved the impossible by becoming even more desirable!

DMS makes a rusty metal face… MF Doom's style meets MAD's design!

King Geedorah, Madvillian, Metal Face, Metal Fingers, Viktor Vaughn, Zev Love X… Call him what you want, we all know "The Man in Metal Mask" as MF Doom. Jokingly being called DMSDoom!, customizer extraordinaire DMS has hand-crafted a limited number of MF Doom Dunnys (as seen above). Made from a base of what certainly appears to be Jeremy "MAD" Madl's secret agent dunny from the Series 5 set, DMS has cast some resin parts to encase the figure in the iconic metal mask… before painting a weathered, rusty look over the whole thing.
This figure is limited to a mere 15 pieces worldwide at the exceedingly cheap price of $40 each. They'll be dropping in DMS's online store on Friday, March 30th at 6PM GMT. Who's going to be lucky enough to get their mask on…?

Enter the Wu-Tang Clan… custom by Hoakser, that is!

Have you been watching Californication this season? Is it just me or does seeing RZA on that week-after-week make you long for those early Wu-Tang Clan albums? Well, whatever the impetus, Hoakser obvious holds that seminal modern Hip-Hop group in some regard, since his newest custom is a loving dedication to them. Using the 5" vinyl "Flip" figure from the Hoodiez line, Hoakser has decked this B-Boy out Wu-Tang style; a black hat and black sweatshirt, the latter of which bears the Wu's iconic "W" logo, some nicely faded blue jeans, and some sick wash over the exposed skin areas to show some depth on what could've easily been a flat looking figure… but obviously isn't!
And Hoakser continues his crazy traditions, putting this bad boy up on eBay with a starting price of only £0.99 (approx. $1.50US) HERE. If you're a Wu-Tang Forever kinda guy, then this is the ultimate addition to your collection.

Mondo makes unique book by cutting up prints… by the likes of Olly Moss!

If you were lucky enough to attend Mondo's first gallery show a couple of weeks back, then you got to see the much hyped but rarely explained "Mondo Book." And now, finally, the silence has broken on what this ultra-special edition is:

I briefly talk about this in the intro of the book, but I was at a friend’s house earlier this year and noticed a book he had by Jay Ryan. It was full of posters…. actual pieces of the screenprinted posters. I thought about the giant stack of returned posters we’ve gotten over the years and figured this would be a great way to get those out as we were moving to the new space and didn’t want to transport them. So, we began to go through the giant stack and pick out which ones we wanted in and in what order they should go. We found a local binder and had him cut them down to size and over several weeks we hand put these books together. It was an intricate process and below you can see some of the pics of the book getting put together.

And they obviously weren't being overly choosy about what to include of not, since I can clearly see a copy of Olly Moss's "My Neighbor Totoro" print in there… which typically sells for a couple of hundred bucks. There were only 105 copies made worldwide, each costing $200, and at some point today the remaining copies will be available through Mondo's online store; we suggest you follow their Twitter to get a better "head's up" as to release time. And the book, bound in 100% genuine leather, seems to simply be titled "Mondo, Vol. 1"… which certainly does imply that there might be a Vol. 2 some day!
