Xone Industries Celebrates St. Patrick's Day...

To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, Xone Industries with designer Robert Curet has come up with a "Leprechaun Mech" paper goliath that you can build yourself! This Leprechaun may seem cute and lovable by himself but when he is sitting in his giant mechanical battle suit it is a totally different story. And one of the awesome things about this paper figure is that it's completely FREE! If you would like to build your own battle ready Leprechaun then please click HERE.

A handful of new customs from FULLER

Check out the new customs that FULLER just completed... and my goodness do they look amazing! First up is a GIANT "Black Magic Mega Voodoo" Munny that stands a whopping 20" tall! Fuller tells us that "I wanted to do add something to my Black Magic series. I don't do very many Mega Munny so I thought I would make him into one. I did a ton of more sculpting on this than I normally would. I have to say it was really fun. This was my original design of Voodoo from series one, but I decided to do a brown version. Thinking I like this one better."... it surley is an impressive piece! This is set to go up for sale via his online store very soon!

The next next customs was done up as a commission, and Fuller tackled one of my favorite pieces of all time... a Rebel Ink! Titled "Rebel Western", Fuller tells us that his client wanted his rebel ink to have an Ole Western Indian feel. The only requirement was to use red, black, gray and white... and I just gotta say, it was a home run! His last piece was completed as his entry for the SO SO Happy Project. Fuller chose the character "TRIBE", and that bright green monstrosity turned out fantastic! Fuller really did a great job on all of these pieces, and if you are looking to collect customs from him, be sure to hit up his online store HERE as he always has it stocked with great stuff!

Pokemon Nostalgia with Kat Brunnegraff...

Gotta catch em all! Gotta catch em all! Kat Brunnegraff has just finished 7 more Pokemon paintings in her quest to capture and draw the 151 original Pokemon. Gengar, Arcanine, Growlithe, Eevee, Jolteon, Vaporeon and Flareon are the latest Pokemon she has put her beautiful interpretations on.

These cute Pokemon are so expressive and the faces Kat put on each individual one lights up the painting. I personally own one of Kat Brunnegraff paintings and the details she puts into one painting are really amazing. If you are interested in picking up one of Kat Brunnegraff original paintings or other merchandise (Stuffed Pillows and Jewelry) please click HERE. Or if you would like to find out more information about her just click HERE or follow her on twitter @katbrunnegraff.

Mondo x Tyler Stout announce 2xLP & print for Drive soundtrack!

If you've seen the Ryan Gosling vehicle (pun intended) "Drive," then you know what all the hub-bub is about. Easy one of the best crime films in recent memory (others, for me, being the under-appreciated "The Lookout" and "Brick"). Well the fine folks over at Mondo — known for selling out of things so fast that I've never been able to get one thing I've wanted from them — adore "Drive" and are proud to show it off… They produced the above pictured print by Ken Taylor to coincide with the DVD/Blu-Ray release of the film and, now, they've gone and licensed the soundtrack. Wait, why?!? Yes, you read that right… the soundtrack.

Mondo will be releasing the soundtrack to the film on vinyl in June, with an exclusive cover and package design by Tyler Stout. And they'll be doing a limited edition screen print by Stout to celebrate the occasion as well. This Double-LP beast is quite the amazing score, composed and executed by Cliff Martinez — also known as a past drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the man behind the "Sex, Lies, and Videotape" soundtrack. "Drive" also features music from Kavinsky feat. Lovefoxxx (of Cansei de Ser Sexy), Desire, David Grellier's College project, Riz Ortolani, and the Chromatics. While not officially announced, it is doubtful that the two uncredited tracks by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross — modified versions of pieces from the film "The Social Network" — will appear on this release, since they were not included on the CD version.

We'll try to keep you updated on this as the release date approaches.

HMQ Tease! RunDMB, Penny Taylor, DMS, Zukaty & more!

HMQ sounds might ominous, doesn't it? And it should… for you're Qees are about to take a turn for the dark side. Or, at least, the heavy side. HMQ is Heavy Metal Qee, a forthcoming group custom exhibition featuring 30 UK-based designers and artists interpreting their take on "heavy metal" in the form of a custom 8" Qee. The list of artists is monumental… and the finished pieces are looking fantastic, as you can see below with teaser pics from (clockwise, L-R): RunDMB, Penny Taylor aka Tiny Oyster Designs, DMS, and Zukaty.
The current list of confirmed artists is: Jon-Paul Kaiser, Matt JOnes, Jim Freckingham, DMS, A Little Stranger, Lisa Rae Hansen, Michael Harris, Zro, RunDMB, Chris Morris, Fadeworks, Sneaky Raccoon, Lunabee, Penny Taylor, Adam Lister, Hoakser, Alto, Mimic, Zukaty, Fordybo, Amigurumi Island, Tesselate, Jack Wade, Flatties, Mark Treharne, and Rhys Inkbotz Brown. Ron English's "Fat Tony (Fluorescent Colorway)" at myplasticheart!?!

Ron English's wonderfully obese Fat Tony, which we recently reviewed, appears to have gotten a new colorway set to ship in June… this morning, myplasticheart added the Fluorescent Edition to their catalog and are taking pre-orders. This colorway is strange, since it looks exactly like the initial OG release except with an addition color mask of pink on the scarf and mouth (which John will like, since he commented on these things lacking in his review). Rumors abounded that all colorways after the initial OG would be limited to less than 500 copies, but there is no announcement of limitation here. In fact, details are REALLY scant… is this a more limited colorway or a "mass release" version? Is it a myplasticheart exclusive, since they're the only place I can find anything about this at? More info surely to come, but — in the meantime — in case it does end up being an ultra-limited colorway… you might want to put your pre-order in for the low price of $59.99.

***UPDATE*** According to a new article by Clutter Magazine, this is an open edition release of the figure and — though it is hard to see — the orange truly is fluorescent.
