Zukaty's Love-Plant custom 3" Dunny series
It appears that Paulo Mendes aka Zukaty is getting in on the Valentine's Day custom action, releasing his own Love-Plant series of 3" Dunnys. Limited to only 6 customs, Zukaty brings his usual attention to detail and crisp line work to this release, the Love-Plants are an extremely reasonable purchase at a mere $50 per piece. Each comes packaged in a hand-painted box with a design that matches the Dunny, which essentially means you're getting a painting as well as custom for your art collection. Truly an amazing deal.

Buff Monster's Standard Hotel mural results in limited print
Recently Buff Monster did a massive mural on a wall outside the Standard Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. The sprays for it were provided by the Montana Store Los Angeles so, as a "thank you" to them as well as to commemorate the mural, Buff has made an extremely limited edition print — only 50 copies exist — for a special event at the store. Plus the infamous Hit + Run Crew will be in attendance to do a live shirt & hoodie printing for the masses.
You can watch a video of Buff Monster creating the mural HERE and then check out the event… Saturday, February 11th from 5PM to 7PM at Montana Store Los Angeles, 1528 1/2 Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90026. http://www.montanastorela.com/

Rivet Wars's Quad Stug tank now available
Fans of Rivet Wars have been awaiting for some pieces representing the Blighter side of things — or, to the uninitiated, the enemy forces against the Allies. And finally we get what we've been waiting for… The Quad Stug tank was just released! The 70mm figure is to scale with the previously released Allies's Vert tanks & Grunts and, per usual, it comes packaged with a stats card. One of these hand-poured grey plastic figures will run you $28, but act fast… Rivet Wars figures have a tendency to go out of production rather quickly. Available at the Rivet Wars store: http://www.rivetwars.com/shop.html

JFury's Love Is Dead custom Munny for Rusted Nail Gallery show
It's always a delight when Justin Phillips aka JFury shares a custom with us, so when we opened our inbox to discover pics of this delightfully sinful "Love Is Dead" 7-inch Munny there was rejoicing. This piece obviously took a lot of care and skill to craft so perfectly; the sneer, the button eyes, the rows of stitch marks, and — of course — the recessed cavern where his heart should be. While love might be dead for this poor soul, you can visit him and fall in love yourself… he'll be on display during The Rusted Nail Gallery's upcoming "I ♥ Munny" group custom toy show.
"I ♥ Munny" runs from February 10th until March 3rd at The Rusted Nail Gallery, 158 W. Main St., Mesa, AZ 85201. http://therustednailgallery.blogspot.com/

Lunabee's Robobees Series 3 is done & ready to go
As reported previously, Cris Rose has crafted some new Robobee Sprogs and Lunabee has skillfully painted a full set for release. This third series of Robobees will only have five custom figures in the set, each retailing for $85. And be ready: they go on sale tomorrow, the 10th of February, at 8PM London time via Lunabee's online store: http://lunabee.bigcartel.com/
And, as usual, Lunabee has written little backstories for each Robobee that are only rivaled in cuteness by the artist herself. These Robobees represent the 'Warriors of the 5 Planes,' a clan of brave and courageous souls who protect the Booshka Kingdoms from all threats (great and small) by working together. There's Leonis the Lion, Ursa the Polar Bear, Fornax the Red Panda, Carina the Pig, and Cetus the Piranha.

Blamo Toys wants to give you a Valentine Hug & so much more
Blamo Toys has a light February for releases… at least, for them it is light; which means it is crazy by any normal standards. The new "Valentine Hug" is a wonderfully pink version of the classic character, with his wee brass eyes in his 2" frame. Did we mention they were limited to only 8 copies in hand-printed packaging? Well, they are… and at only $20 a pop that makes them quite the deal. Blamo are also continuing their 1" tall brass necklace figure line with the additions of Swampy and Hug. Both are limited and will set you back $40 each. But maybe brass isn't your thing. Well, in conjunction with the Toy Art Gallery, Blamo has unleashed silver editions of their popular necklace figure line. You can view all five of these silver beauties HERE.
And last but certainly not least: Have you always wanted to own a custom figure by Andrew Bell? Or Kathie Olivas? Maybe Julie West? Or Jon Paul Kaiser? Or perhaps Leecifer suits your fancy? Well, all the remaining custom figures from the Swampy custom show are now 10% off in the Blamo Toys webstore. Get on it, they are all one of a kind!

Deadmau5 x Toy2R collaboration : new artist inspired vinyl
Toy2R have just announced a collaboration with music phenom Deadmau5 to make new vinyl toys based on the musician's distinctive look… but no, the above photo is not a preview, rather it is a picture from the Deadmau5 Series 2 mini collectibles set that OddCo released last year. Information on this new release or series is scant, but more information should be forthcoming.
Sergey Safonov's Chorus boy Godot is too cute for words
Just look at this dapper-dressed wee little chickadee and try to deny how adorable he is. Named "Chorus boy Godot," he is the newest resin toy creation of Sergey Safonov. A modification on his "Sunset Godot" design, "Chorus boy" stands about 3.5" tall and there are only 10 pieces in this first limited colorway of the figure… and how can you resist those brilliant, vibrant tones? Running you only $45 to own, how can you say no? Head on over to Safonov's webstore HERE to get your hands on one of these wee ones.

Leecifer's Mecha Ghidorah custom for Dragatomi's Year of the Dragon show
These sneak peaks at Leecifer's custom Mecha Ghidorah have just surfaced. The figure, originally a Marmit release, has been hand-painted for Dragatomi's upcoming "Year of the Dragon" show. There's an old adage that a writer should show and not tell… and there's not much we can say that these amazing pics can't show better. Lee mentions that "So this is a bit of a weird one I guess, taking a JAPANESE Kaiju and customizing it for the CHINESE New Year. Hopefully no one's offended and ya gotta keep in mind this thing kicked the crap outta' JAPAN until Godzilla stomped him." I would say you are safe Lee :-) "Year of the Dragon" opens on February 11th at Dragatomi, 2317 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95816. This group show features the talents of: Carson Catlin, DrilOne, Daniel Fleres, Gatchabert, KingQuan, Jeremiah Ketner, Chris Ryniak, John"Spanky"Stokes, Jay222, Leecifer, Jackie Gallagher, Podgy Panda, Helena Garcia, Betso, Chauskoskis, LilJapan, Skinner, Jared Konopitski, Philip Lumbang, Ritzy Periwinkle, J★RYU and Valleydweller. Don't miss out!

RunDMB Most Wanted 3 Dunny Teaser...
Most Wanted 3 will officially be released this coming April but a small pre-order is coming this Friday and a fresh teaser is being shown exclusively here for the first time! This will be RunDMB first time in a Most Wanted series but based off his previous fresh designs his Dunny will definitely be highly sought after! Your guess is as good as mine on what this figure will officially be, but the skull and angel wings bat is definitely a sign that it's off to a good start! If you look closely at the top right Dunny in the photo, you can see a little more of what this Dunny will look like... The last pre-order for Most Wanted 3 will be this Friday, February 10th at Noon PST and each blind will cost $80 plus shipping and available for purchase HERE! Don't fret if you miss out this time though as only a few are being released. The main release is targeted for a date sometime in April. Good luck! And to the left is an image of a previous custom Dunny RunDMB did for a Cat themed set. I loved this one and am sure I will love the bat wielding one that is to come!

Who You Gonna Call... Farfalla...
When there is something strange... In your neighborhood... Who you going to call? "FARFALLA!" Well I would say only call on this beast of a custom if you are having a mad robot roam around your neighborhood. But since you never know when that may happen you may want to air on the safe side and pick up this unique custom from BowoBaghaskara. Using a Molly figure by Kenny Wong as the base of "Farfalla", BowoBaghaskara has created this unique mad robot killing machine. You can even see this custom keeps trophies from the mad robots it has taken down. Don't let the sweet young lady on top fool you, she's a trained hunter and sniper and means business. I definitely love the uniqueness of this figure and will be interesting to see what BowoBaghaskara comes up with next!
I ♥ Munny Sneak Peak From Miss Zukie
Alison aka Miss Zukie is giving us a sneak peak at her take on Valentine's Day for the "I ♥ Munny" show at The Rusted Nail Gallery. Her piece is titled "Would You Be My Valentine?" Using a Munny base along with some sculpey, cardboard, wire and hobby grass this little creation is out searching for someone to give his heart and heart shaped balloon to. I really like the cuteness factor on this piece with his crazy teeth and the simplicity of his outfit with the beautiful colors. Excellent job Miss Zukie! It will definitely be fun to see a bunch of different artists takes and views on love and Valentine's Day. "Would You Be My Valentine?" will be available for sale when the "I ♥ Munny" show opens at The Rusted Nail Gallery starting Friday, February 10th.

3A Is Ready For Mounting...
Can you imagine what a sight this would be on your walls? Keithing has just finished up his take on a 3a Bothead and it is a massive animal waiting to be mounted on your wall! Made using real elk antlers and a 3a Bothead this awesome piece is a combination of half animal and half 3a goodness. When I first saw this piece it took me some time to fully comprehend how amazing it really is. This isn't just for your wall though, and if you decide you have the room, can display it on any flat surface like a desk or coffee table. You just have to make sure you have 36" of extra room but for what I feel is an amazing price of $649 it is well worth losing that space and it is limited to only 6 being made!
And Keithing didn't stop there. Although my preference is toward the Bothead, he came up with a fresh take on the 8" Dunny by combining vinyl and animal to create an 8" "Hunter Dunny." An edition size of 6, each one is hand carved, painted in acrylic and comes with a 7.5" tall weapon. These "Hunter Dunnys" will retail for $375 each. Both customs are dropping TODAY at 1pm EST. If you would like to purchase the "3a Bothead" click HERE. If you would like to purchase the "Hunter Dunny" click HERE.

Kidrobot... what a tease!
I'm telling you folks, Instagram is the new way to tease upcoming product releases... and not only are artists embracing this new social media, but companies are as well! Case in point, Kidrobot just posted up the image that you see above with the caption "Supermagical sneak peek"! Now, we don't know for certain what this is, but it looks to be a tree like feature, and that ghost like face is very similar to the ones that the folks over at 64 Colors create... could this be an 8" Dunny by 64 Colors with a modified ear to look like a branch, or is it a stand alone figure all together. One thing I know for certain... if they are teasing it, that means a release is inevitable, so stay tuned!

Tara McPherson x Vinyl on Vinyl - Limited edition "Lucius and Mountains" resin figure revealed!
New York-based artist Tara McPherson returned to Manila and this second visit to you Vinyl on Vinyl showcased a few new surprises from this super talented artist... and how fitting as Vinyl on Vinyl is celebrating their second anniversary! Tara pulled out all the stops for this show as revealed above and in conjunction with VoV, was a very special resin Toy release titled "Lucius and Mountains", inspired by her legendary Melvins poster. This rad looking 13" tall resin cosmonaut comes decked out in the pastel color pallet that Tara is know for and is rocking an awesome 'finger-stache'! Along with that main figure, "Lucious" also comes with some cosmic pink mountains... to complete the scenery :-) I love how clean this piece is, and according to Sean of Cotton Candy Machine there are only 35 of these made and they are retailing for around $450 a pop. If interested contact Vinyl on Vinyl asap as I can see these being snatched up pretty quick!

Chris Ryniak's The Nibbler is coming!
A work-in-progress pic of Chris Ryniak's newest sculpted creature, The Nibbler, has emerged. This 19" tall beastie is based off of a sketch by Ryniak from last year entitled "The Dainty Nibbler." This piece is destined for the previously announced Monsters & Misfits II group art show, which continues to make me wish I could afford a plan ticket to Japan. Not Safe For Work (NSFW). Seriously. F*ck Art exhibit @ The Museum of Sex.
Today marks of the opening of the "F*ck Art" exhibit at the Museum of Sex, which has 20 street artists occupying the 3rd floor of the museum and giving it a make-over. Designed to push the boundaries between sexual imagery in public spaces, this event just might break them. If you want to see many more images, plus tons of info, hit the jump... but be warned, this is totally NSFW!!!
It comes as no surprise that AIKO is in this show, since her mixed media installations are known for their seductive female forms, but the 14-foot-long "Fuck Bike #001" by William Thomas Porter might get some gasps by passersby. If you don't believe me, watch this definitely NSFW video of it in action by Andrew H. Shirley HERE. And it's brilliant that Cassius Fouler's "We're F*cked" wall of vibrant and playful food fetish iconography leads straight to the Oral Fix Bar. Though it might've been more appropriate to place DICKCHICKEN's "Tribute to Keith" there (shown against a wallpaper made by the artist as well).
But what would a show of this sort be without the inclusion of LUSH, the self-proclaimed graffiti asshole. Photographs of LUSH's work tend to be accompanied by topless models… much like the above work-in-progress pics from the mural show. And, from what we're told, LUSH's area will have an interactive ice cream cart display.
A wall has been done-up by Droid, Gen 2 and Oze 108 of the 907 crew while the ever imaginative & strange El Celso has done a total of six acrylic-on-plexi pieces. The ultra-sensual Miss Van contributed two "Twinkles" paintings (detail of one shown) which flank "The Magic Box," a hand-crafted box that's illuminated & contains a new painting for the show. And Patch Whiskey created a sci-fi spun pin-up installation, complete with dolled up mannequins in their post-apocalyptic best.
RTTP, the duo of Nathan Vincent & Bryan Raughton, do a series of paste-up drawings and found item pieces to explore the entire "Men-Seeking-Men on Craigslist" phenomenon, while Tony Bones contributes a series of life-size wood cutouts and WOLFTITS shows off a hand-made rug. And — of course — there will be "The Future Tools Collection," a series of re-imagined sex toys by Wonderpuss Octopus. Also on display are blown-up classified ads by B-rad Izzy, the homosexual stencil art of Jeremy Novy, JMR's abstract "The Adventures of Han Solo," the one-day painting installation "Urban Affairs Extended" by MODE 2, and ROSTARR's 113-inch canvas piece "Nation of Millions."
"F*ck Art" is on display from February 8th until June 10th at the Museum of Sex, 233 Fifth Ave. (@ 27th Street), New York, NY 10016. http://museum.museumofsex.com/. All images are copyright Jaime Rojo and come courtesy of the Brooklyn Street Art blog, except the image of LUSH's piece being worked on which is copyright and courtesy of Mercyful Fate.
