New print release from Yosiell Lorenzo 1/27/2012
Yosiell Lorenzo just dropped word that he will be releasing a new print tomorrow... and it's in a style we have not seen before from him! This "new" style is an all black and white silkscreen print, a stark contrast from his normal super bright color pallet. This print measures 8"x8" and is a one color silk screen print on 100lb. true white speckletone paper. Each is hand numbered and signed, and will be limited to just 20 pieces! All prints come in Custom envelopes... and as an added bonus, 1 out of the 20 prints comes with the original owl girl sketch... AWESOME!!! These drop at 11am PST HERE tomorrow and go for $18!

This classic 5.5" action figure-style resin art toy was sculpted by Ben Spencer, hand cast in blacklight-reactive, chromed aluminum Airsoft pellet infused crystal clear resin by The Godbeast... this is AWESOME!!!! Galaxxor 009 features 2 points of articulation and comes packed in a traditional bag and header style with exclusive header card art by Steve Seeley. This figure is limited to an edition of 5 and will never be produced in this colorway ever again. Kidrobot's FatCap Series 3 released!!!!!
The FatCap Series 3 release is finally HERE, and in a few cases has already hit the ground running - depending on your timezone - but... if you are still on the fence abut what to do this evening, why not go celebrate in style by attending your local trading and release party!!! Remember that if you buy a case, there are few exclusives, and just like a few previous blind-box releases they are going to be region specific. North American locations will have a super limited amount of Sket One’s “Cover The Cap” GOLD edition, and everywhere else will have the endangered design by Scribe dubbed “Almost Gone”! Amongst those rare designs, this series is looking really fresh!
This 3rd series features 18 rad designs by artists new and old... and that is awesome to see! The artists that are in the series include: Devious, Flying Fortress, Jon Paul Kaiser, Julie West, KaNO, Kronk, MCA, Montana Colors, Pez, Queen Andrea, Quisp, Scribe, Shok 1, and Sket One! Check out that checklist above, and for a full list of trading parties... hit the link HERE! I will be at the trading party at Gunnzo in San Diego... and hope to see all my vinyl heads there, this should be fun... and I might even buy up a few blind-boxes myself as I am really digging this series!

Ron English's "Fat Tony" vinyl figure... update!
Last week we posted a little info about an upcoming release from Ron English, and we told you we would follow up with another post when we got more info... well, we have that info... so here we go! Dubbed "Fat Tony" this awesome 9" tall vinyl figure, with articulated arms from English is by far my favorite figure from him to date, and based on a guerilla cereal box advertising campaign that Ron placed on some super market shelves a while back... they have made the leap from 2D to 3D! According to the press release "Introducing Fat Tony: A Ton of Tiger with a Short Shelf Life The 100% Nutrition-Free Vinyl Toy. Sugary cereals captured the hearts of Young America by giving away cheap toys made in China in every box. This prize at the bottom of the box actually ate the cereal. A delicious shortcut to attention deficit disorder!"
Above is the "OG" colorway which is limited to 500 pieces is set to retail for just $60, a great deal if you ask me... but does anyone else notice that the scarf around Tony's neck is orange and not red... I wonder if the above photo is the final product, if it is... that's a big mistake in my book as it looks like a skin-scarf, weird. Look for these to pop up in most all designer vinyl retail locations worldwide.

Jeff Lamm's new "Spike Wad" figure teaser #3
I have been slacking on my coverage of London's Toy Fair 2012 -more posts to come - but I have been keeping track via Unbox Industries Twitter stream over the past few days, and I gotta say there are some really fun new figures coming out that they are producing. One of which we have covered multiple times HERE and HERE is Jeff Lamm's upcoming "Spike Wad" figure... which by the way made his way into the wild and was on display at LTF (pictured to the left). This character is a familiar face if you follow Jeff's gig poster work and according to Jeff he has four arms, shipped with two front ones unattached so they fit in the bag... and he will be interchangeable with the other Unbox toys... meaning 'M5 BRAVO' & 'STEE-GAR' will have a buddy :-) According to Jeff "Spike Wad is a fairly new large mutant spider. It's origins are unknown, some say it first appeared in the area of the Large Hadron Collider on the border of France and Switzerland. It was given the military nomenclature "Spider Quad" which was shortened to "Spi-Quad" and finally "Spike Wad"." You gotta love the look of this intergalactic being... and check out that under-bite, he's adorable, and fierce all wrapped into one 4 armed figure! There is still no word on a release... but after seeing paint laid down on vinyl... we can't be too far away now!

"Slime" GREAD's from Dead Hand Toys
If you have been following the Twitter stream of Brian A. aka LYSOL of Dead Hand Toys like I have, you have seen teasers of the above RAD looking "Gread" figures... and just announced today is the release of these... but it's not what you think! For this particular release, the figures will be made to order... that's right... you decide from a couple colors for the Gread, and several colors for the "slime"... AWESOME! The pre-orders for this go live HERE on Tuesday, January 31st at Noon EST, and they will be priced at just $20 each!!! This is a really cool thing that Brian is doing for all his fans, and I can;t wait to see the color combos that people come up with! I assume that Brian will limit the amount of sales for this, so if you plan on getting one made, do it right when the pre-sale goes live!
