Speaking of Dragaon's... man, everyone is dragon happy this year and
Chris Ryniak joins the club with his "Baby Blewgle" custom Stitch that he turned into an adorable little dragon for
Dragatomi's upcoming 'Year of The Dragon' show that is going down on February 11th, 2012! You just gotta love all those tiny little details that Chris adds to each and every one of his pieces, and this little guy has such a great expression on his face. I personally like how the Stitch body lent itself so well to the additional sculptural features that Chris so masterfully added on... and what a fantastic color pallet! This will be available at the show... along with many other great pieces, so be on the lookout for more previews to come!

Directly after
Martin Hsu's "Dragon Boy" show at
Dragatomi that went down on January 14th, Martin jumped on a plane bound for Taiwan... and just sent over a new year card he recently finished while on his trip featuring "Dragon Boy" and "Blacki"e! In celebration of the new dragon year, Martin also made this image available as a free desktop download via his website

Check this out! I have not seen very many customs done up on Jesse Hernandez's new "Calavera" Dunny, but artist Justin P. aka
JFury just completed one, and my goodness does it look great! Titled "
JuJu The Witch Doctor Clown", Justin went all out on this piece, completely transforming it into an almost production like custom! The cleanliness of his lines and the use of colors is immaculate, and the extra added sculptural elements - like the skulls on the ears, the hair on the side of the head, the skirt - really make it pop! The guys behind
Bad Applez Inc. are hosting their first group art show... and it's going to be 100% online! Going live on February 14, 2012 (Valentine's Day), the show titled "I'm a Bad Apple" will feature
over 30 artists customizing 3"-5" plastic apples that were picked up at a local craft shop! Each artist will have free reign over how they customize each apple and with such a robust line-up... it's going to be awesome! I recently just finished up my piece... and I can't wait to show it off, but they have asked to just show teasers... and no full reveals until the day of the show. They will have a gallery page set up via their site

Scribe and his equally talented wife
Alisa have planned for Hawaii.... well here we go! Scribe is known for his artistic work painting murals, designing designer vinyl toys, illustrating children's books, and being an awesome father. His wife Alisa is well known for creating original handmade custom plush toys and collectables.
The couple will be showcasing their artistic talents with an art show and meet & greet at In4mation in the Pearlridge Center on Saturday, January 28, 2012. The event will showcase original art pieces, paintings, and drawings created by the husband and wife duo and will also showcase some of Scribe's murals that will be painted during their visit to Hawai'i in several communities including Kalihi, Kaka'ako, and the greater Honolulu area.

You read it right folks... Android Series 3 is upon us and
DKE Toys is now taking pre-orders for this, what seems to be, EPIC series! Now why would I say that without seeing any designs... well just look at the artist line up:
Google, Andrew Bell, Gary Ham, Huck Gee, KaNO, MAD, KRONK, Kelly Denato, Scott Tolleson and
Sket One... AWESOME right?!?! According to our source, unlike Series 1 and 2 there will only be one production run of Series 3, and it will be the only full artists series released this year, and at just $8 per blind box... you can't go wrong! I am sure designs will start popping up very soon, and until then... all we have is that flyer above to marinate on!
