"Toys Gone Wild"... introducing the Butthole Bear

Hey, if Kozik can add buttholes to Labbits... why can't bears have them too, and on that note... why not push the envelope and add a noise box? That is exactly what Twisted Toys did! What started as a joke... the kind of joke you don’t tell everyone about — especially not your mother. From deep in the shadows of sound designer Boris Popkoff’s studio, a furry, little bear with a very dark secret was born. At first I thought the press release was a joke... or was a furry fetish (it actually probably is), but after reading and investigation, this toy is the real deal... and apparently a big hit, kinda gross, but a big hit nonetheless. The Butthole Bear made its inaugural appearance in 2001 as a gift for a friend and instantly gained a reputation via word of mouth. People couldn’t get enough of the innocent-looking little bear which — with a gentle poke into its velvety custom-made sphincter — spews forth a barrage of startlingly filthy phrases and sounds. The Butthole Bear retails for $37.99 and The Keester Bunny for $34.99, and both toys are only available online at the Twisted Toy website HERE!

**UPDATE** According to Huck Gee, I was wrong about the furry thing... and I quote "It's "plushy", not "furry" fetish. Plushies hump stuffed animals, furries dress like them." my bad :-)

"Hello Tiki II: Scary Love" by NemO

New York based artist Mike "NEMO" Mendez continues his longstanding relationship with Tenacious Toys as they have just announced the next iteration of his tiki-themed Hello Kitty custom: "Hello Tiki II: Scary Love". According to NemO "This figure is a talisman that guards the holder against unwanted, bad or "scary" love." Hello Tiki II is about 4" tall and incorporates a variety of materials, a handmade grass skirt and a sculpted base. I really love this style, as it really brings back a nostalgic feel... and NemO does it with serious style! The piece is for sale HERE via the Tenacious Toys site for $95!
