Amanda Louise Spayd's "Origins of the Forest" show at myplasticheart!

I'm a big fan of Amanda Louise Spayd's innovative and disturbingly cute creations, so it makes me quite happy to see that she's embarked on her second solo show… and that it'll be in New York City! "Origins of the Forest" is perfectly timed as the East Coast shifts from the warmth of Summer into the briskness of Fall, when the trees themselves become the stars of the stage with color variations in their leaves drawing attention.

"Origins of the Forest" opens on September 7th with a reception from 6-9PM (artist in attendance!) and runs through October 7th at myplasticheart, 210 Forsyth St., New York, NY 10002.
