Martin Hsu's "Dragon Boy" Prototype Final

Well look what we have here... and as artist Martin Hsu puts his finishing touches on all of his pieces for his upcoming show at Dragatomi this weekend, he just revealed his "Dragon Boy" final production prototype, which by the way will be on display for all to see this weekend! Along with that awesome piece above, Martin will be showing 12 new paintings featuring "Dragon Boy" and "Blackie", his kirin chow chow. Oh and for these of you who want fist dibs on these pieces, be sure to sign up for the preview list HERE! I personally love the way the 3D piece worked out as it captures Martin's fluid illustration style... and as you can see from the illustration to the right, it still has so much attitude that the original created figure portrayed. Now... lets see some of these painted up :-) "Dragon Boy" opens this Saturday January 14th from 7pm-10pm and will continue to be on display until February 4th, 2012.
