Artist Carson Catlin shares with us today a whole flurry of custom vinyl pieces that he has been preparing for his show at Blue Galley in Kansas City. This show titled "These are my toys" is part of the gallery's 'wonderwall exhibit' and will be on display and up for grabs all through December. Above is the flyer that features his rad "Elky" custom threaded Munny, but after the jump there is a ton of other customs... more Munny's, MAD*l's, Munnyworld figures, and even some Dunny's... this guy leaves nothing untouched! Happy Panda Toys has just launched the preview website that contains the majority of the works that artist James Fuller customized for his upcoming show at HPT's Arts Factory location which opens TOMORROW Friday, December 2nd 2011. As you can see from the above pieces, Fuller went all out... and holy crap is his style impeccable! I love the mishmash of comic book themed characters along with some great original ones! Gold I say, gold... everything he touches turns to it, and this new custom by UK based artist Jon Paul Kaiser is an example of why this man is at the top of the designer toy food chain! This brand new 8" Dunny custom is his first crack at the Luchador theme, and according to JPK "I found it quite a challenge, especially with the shapes/cut-outs on the mask."... well the end result does not show a struggle at all in terms of design, and I love the altered arms and head... and how can you not dig on that skull under the mask... EPIC!!! Oh, and for this one we also are seeing a splash of color... something that JPK doesn't do very often... but when he does it sure pops!

A dream come true??? I know it would be for me, in any case... I am stoked that the folks at Vannen had the chance to work with on of the best punk bands of all time... the Descendents!!! Next Friday, December 9th, Vannen Watches is releasing a brand new watch that has a design based on their last studio record "Cool To Be You" and will retail for $85 each. The run is limited to 300 pieces with packaging signed and numbered by the entire band... WOAH!!!!
