3.5" Solid maple Marshall's... drop tomorrow!!!

Last time we spotted 'Marshall the Marshmallow' from 64 Colors he was all crazy done up in a massive 7" SOLID MAPLE version... well now this adorable little guy has been shrunk down to a much more manageable 3.5" scale and is set to drop tomorrow at 8am PST for a measly $125 a piece! These will be very limited, only 10 infact... and Eric goes on to say that "Each one is hand made from a solid piece of maple. The heads are attached by dowel and rotate. The arms are attached by dowels and move also. The graphics are laser etched and each Marshall is hand-sanded and then coated with Tongue oil to preserve the wood and enhance the grain." What an awesome piece to be had by all Marshall collectors... the question is will you get one? Be sure to hit up their online shop HERE at the above time tomorrow, and good luck!

"Imani" custom Munny by THARP!!!

Another custom from THARP??? Yes indeed, and this NEW Munny, called "Imani" (named after the winner), turned out fantastic! This piece is the result of a drawing he had during NYCC 2011 at the Ohiya booth. After the show Jason aka THARP took all the entries, threw them in a bag, and drew the winner's name - Imani B... and she even has her own website. Once Jason contacted Imani, they worked out colors, and any other theme of her choosing. She passed on her logo to me and it was kinda used for some inspiration... and according to Jason, the result is really one of his favorite customs to date!!

*REVIEW* So Analog "Gold" 10-Doh! figure

I had the opportunity to get my filthy mitts (they aren't really dirty) on Squid Kids Ink brand new So Analog '10-Doh!' figure and more specifically their all gold "Convention Exclusive" version... and above is a cool little LIVE video review I did. If you watch the video, you will see how great this product really is. The figures themselves started out as being a strictly all resin run, but most recently SquidKids took the mass-production leap and had this super stylized figure created in high quality ABS and PVC... which by the way debuted at Comic Con 2010 in San Diego. The original plan was to only have this all 'Gold' version be convention exclusive, but most recently... plans have changed, more on that later.

The quality on this 7.5" figure is really quite fantastic, and I love how nostalgic they are... even though they are brand new. The feet and arms have a really solid feel to them, and once placed in the figure... well it takes on a life of its own. These normally retail for $50 at conventions, but like mentioned before that is changing for the mere fact that SquidKids just don't go to enough conventions... oh and seeing as it's almost 'Black Friday' SquidKids has just announced that they will be putting this up in their online storefor just $35 on Friday November 25th for only 24hours... and if it's not apparent by now, you should totally get one because they are rad!

How "Catball Eats It All" is made... a video WIP

Take a look at the process of creating a level for the up-coming iPhone & iPad game "Catball Eats It All" that is being spearheaded by artist NoseGo. He tells us that his team has been working around the clock for the last 8 months; and seeing as all the ingame is based entirely off of his artwork, so everything in the game is painted... you can understand why it's taking a long time to create... but the end result is going to be epic!
