Carson Catlin continues to slay all the DIY vinyl pieces he comes in contact with and his latest piece titled "Elky" is looking really amazing! Named after an old family pet and inspired by his wife's make up bag, this 7" Munny with a filigree type design accompanied by brown thread throughout will be available for viewing and purchase at the
Blue Galley all through December. According to Carson, Elky is the first of many customs for the gallery including a 7 LED lit Munnyworld pieces, five "Cuts" pieces, a couple of other threaded pieces and a bunch of runny Dunnys... look out for this dude, he's on a serious roll!

So check this out... Russian artists Creo Design have teamed up with Serg Basargin of
Itoyz to create "
The Almighty Chebaka", a vinyl toy that will be released in 2012. According to Creo Design "
Chebaka brings luck and protects its owner, and Chebaka knows and controls everything". This figiure really reminds me of the previously released
Monskey figures, except with no arms.
Also being released from the same company and in conjunction with Akinori Oishi is the new figure dubbed Law 'Hill'. This 5" tall figure is limited to just 60 pieces and it started out as a painting on a wall. I like the bell shape... in a quirky way this works for me and reminds me of early UK based vinyl figures.
