Makadi3000's custom are always a treat, his work on the Iron Penguin is the stuff of legend so it was a real feather in the cap when he agreed to join in the 3A custom show in SF at the 1AM gallery. In fact He had to be begged as he's a busy guy and with skills like his it's easy to see why. But we're certainly glad he joined in as his latest work is literally jaw dropping. "Seven" is what happens when you take the creativity and genuis of Adi and let it loose with one of the great DIY's from 3A.
If your in the San Francisco bay area this weekend be sure to come by the 1AM gallery for the opening of I AM LEGION, the 3A Custom show. The opening will be this Friday Nov. 4 at 6:30 pm and runs till Dec. 4.

Want to spook up your house...well now you can with this gigantic "Night of the living dead" wall decal! Yes, a wall full of zombies, being offered up on Amazon. This is at $50 right now... and there are all kinds of colors to choose from, but don't tell your girlfriend you are getting them, not sure she would dig your decorating style :-) Head on over HERE now, before they lumber away...
Bloody brain shooter
1 1/4 oz. strawberry vodka such as Stoli
1/8 oz. Rose's lime juice
3/4 oz. Bailey's Irish Cream
Splash of grenadine
Preparation: Chill vodka for better smoothness. Add vodka and lime juice to a shaker, shake and strain into a shot glass. Using a straw, dip some Bailey's Irish Cream into the shot. Once you submerge the straw into the Bailey's put your finger on top of the straw to hold the Bailey's in the straw. Dip the straw tip into the vodka and slowly release your top finger. The Bailey's will curdle a little bit due to the lime juice and you should be able to make strands of Bailey's.
Repeat the straw/Bailey's process to build a "brain" in the shot glass. Add a splash of grenadine to the concoction to add the 'blood' to the mix. Down the hatch as a shot.
Alternatively, have a friend hold a shot of Bailey's in their mouth and then add one of lime juice and swish it around. Cement mixer! Puke! Lose a friend! This was courtsey of brain shots [folkinz]Via Bloody Brain Shooters [neatorama]
It looks like October Toys is sold out of these now, but you can find exclusive red Z.O.M.B.I.E.s at Tsunami Tactical and exclusive color changing Z.O.M.B.I.E.s at Zombies & Toys!
The above items were made for only a couple dollars each! It's easy if you have a few things around the house and a dollar store nearby. You just need a little imagination and an eye for mixing and matching. These are some really great ideas, and I thought it was really cool to see what was made just by using common items you can find around the house or at the store for really cheap. Have fun, and if you do use this tutorial to make some of your own, send em my way, I wanna see!!!!
Who needs off-the-shelf seasonal Halloween decorations when you can make your own in an afternoon for a fraction of the price and get ten times the quality - not to mention something wholly unique?
This is a process, rather than a specific How-To. Use a similar process on your own to mix and match different items to make your own jars. Wander through the dollar store and look at the various items in a whole new way!
The most important thing is to think of a story behind each creation. This will direct your efforts. Once you have a concept in mind, the rest of the jar will pretty much make itself.
Here is how the above items were made. Expand on this and make your own!
This year at Designer-Con the folks over at Blamo Toys are bringing the thunder once again, and plan on releasing an exclusive limited edition of their new character "Fuzzie Bare" at booth #208! Fuzzie is most definitely a favorite in Blamoville, as he enjoys taking things slow and hanging with his sidekicks. He is sometimes known to perform as a lounge singer, and loves to sing the blues and has an affinity to tasty Asian edibles. Fuzzie wuzzie was a bear even when he wasn't fuzzy, but in this special edition he has fur. Fuzzie is a 5" resin figure, designed by Spencer Hansen and hand-painted by Mikie Graham. This limited edition "california Brown bear" colorway has a run of only 5 and will be available for $65.
Knuckles"! Knuckles and his Uncle 'Ludo' are the elders of BLAMOVILLE. Knuckles is a famous street fighter and legend has it that during a friendly street brawl in the Greatest Storm of the Century there was a white out and he landed himself a gold tooth. Winter is his favorite season and he enjoys building snowmen and sippin' on hot totties. Knuckles will debut at Dcon and then be available on the Blamo Toys website on November 17th!
Lastly, don't forget to visit their booth #208 to see the public reveal of their upcoming custom show "The Epic Adventures of Swampy McSwamperson"... previously posted HERE. This booth is going to be a must if you are going to Dcon... so much to see!!!

In celebration of Halloween, and all things orange and heavy, I present to you guys one of the sweetest pumpkin dropping montages I have ever seen... Note the awesome sound and actual reality of possible death (if hit by one of these beasts), as the cars get crushed like tin cans. Simply amazing...
P.S. I also love how the first guy who pulls the string slips as he dives away from the jack o' lantern death machine. I bet he peed a little.
