"Killbot" resin prototype from Fadeworks

Back in September, Elliott Jeffrey aka Fadeworks shared with us HERE a very cryptic teaser of an upcoming figure release that he is producing himself... in resin! Now he has just sent over some seriously cool pictures of the nearly finished "Killbot" prototype... and Elliott says that all that needs to be done is some finishing on one of the tank tracks... I say cast that mofo, it looks dope! This little guy is going to have 4 points of articulation and one of four different facemarks... and above you can see one of them. I am really stoked to see this thing looking so clean and I can't wait to see more! What do YOU all think?!?!

Latest "7 Bones" teaser from 3A

Photobucket
Early this year we had the chance to pick up the first of the 7 Bones from 3A. For those that might not recall, the 7 Bones were a chance from 3A to revisit some of the original style TK's but with a new twist. The first of the 7 Bones was Wasabi, released as part of the Tomorrow King classic line, a special release that is more reasonably priced, the classic's live up to their name.

This latest teaser shows a new twist on the Oyabun style TK. Oyabuns have the jacket and dual swords, and this new one (titled "8 Baller") really shows this design off. At first glance we can see it has the latest addition to the Oyabun style with the addition of dual packs at the front as well as the Sageo (traditional wrapping used to attach the katana to the belt) as was first seen with the retailer exclusive Pathfinder Oyabun. We can also see the use of the Baka slicer TK head and hair style. But the thing I noticed most was the color of this latest Oyabun (well also that grey sleeve on the jacket) which looks to be a grey skin tone usually reserved for a Interloper. Hopefully that will be seen in the final production style as it's a real treat for sure. This latest TK will sure to be a classic. This latest Oyabun style TK should be released in November at bambaland

Stitches and Glue - October News... MONSTERS!

Paul over at Stitches and Glue has been keeping himself super busy and most recently he took part in Strychnin gallery's, 'Creature feature' exhibition in Berlin, with his submission 'Rube'. This amazing looking creature turned out so rad and according to Paul he even did some puppeteering for visitors on the opening night, along with Rubes co-creator, Becky Johnson. Check out the short clip of Rube before he was shipped off above... frigen cool! The show runs for another week or so and then Rube will be on his travels again to take part in the Blooom Art Festival in Cologne... gotta love traveling monsters!

In Monster Workshop news! There is a new face in town for Halloween and his name is "Boyn". This little fella can’t stop flapping his ears and bouncing about. He was found being quite a nuisance causing a clatter amongst the somber bells high up in a clock tower. He proved to be quite the handful to capture and his new owners need to be on their toes to keep up with this energetic little critter. He comes in a very limited run of only 15 pieces in this colorway, measures 7"x5.5"x4" excluding ears... oh and just like all MW stuff, he is completely hand made. If you are interested in picking one up, along with other awesome products, hit up the Monster Workshop online store HERE!

"Butty" needs your help to get funded!

Hey everyone.. how about another toy driven Kickstarter project?!?!?! That's one thing that I love to do is help spread the word about new figures... especially if they get the backing of the community and that is exactly what artist Pantelis Nikolaides is trying to do. Introducing "Butty"... he is trying to become your newest friend, but don't judge him because he has protruding belly and well defined arse... he's cute!!!

Maybe he has a noticeable figure and a sense of design, but what he is at heart is a toy. He will stand approximately 5" tall and have 4 points of articulation... all in the arms! One thing I like about this design is the fact that the arms can be twisted around so much... and how can you not find the fact that he is dragging his hands on the ground behind him adorable! Just like all Kickstarter projects, there are tiers for all price ranges... and at just $35 you can own one of these if it gets funded! Head on over HERE now and give it a look, and help this artists dreams come true!
