I personally put together a custom Munny titled "
Never judge a Stroll by its cover" which was created to show that no matter what a person, or furry monster in this case, looks like... never judge them by what they look like on the outside as they may be kind at heart! Another doozie for you all this labor day as the folks over at
FlabSlab posted up some amazing pictures of an all bronze "Sumo" head designed by
Arkiv and cast by Jamie over at
Fully Visual! There is no word on how big these are, but we do know that they will be released during Arkiv's exhibition in Singapore in a very limited edition, around 10 pieces or so... more on that soon! I really dig the way that these turned out, and seeing them in bronze really give the shape of this head a super sculptural quality!

You all may recall the custom Jaws figure that
Huck Gee did a little while back for uber Coarse toys fan, who wishes to still stay anonymous for the time being... well he has commissioned yet another top tier artist to slay this vinyl figure, and
Doktor A. did just that! Utilizing his "Rupture" color pallet and design, Dok A. really went to work on this figure... and the really cool thing about this custom is you can tell right away who did it, just by the style it's painted up in! The attention to detail is really great to see, and the addition of that 'staff' is really great... all around a great custom, and I am sure a holy grail to alot of collectors out there!

A few months back I received an email from
Laura Weeks, an artist based out of England, and she had mentioned that she had some hand-made resin figure up for grabs, but little did I know that these were going to be so cute! Keep in mind, she has only been doing these for about a year now, and you can see the diversity in each figure! First up is the "
Bandit Fox" who measures 12cm long 5cm high approx, next is the "
Double Headed Giraffe" (Raffe), who was inspired by the childrens tv show 'cat dog', and it measures 10cm high by 4.5cm.
She also created a really cool figure dubbed "
Red Squirrel" which was created to show her love for the illusive red squirrel, he has a resin body and a moveable tail made from a fabric. He is 12cm high and an endangered species :-) And my favorite of the bunch, "
Hairy Guy" - which by the way is the first resin toy she made - and he is 8cm high and takes about 7 hours to paint! Laura also has a ton of badges and some prints available... all of which you can find in her online store
