From traditional to urban from resin to vinyl, these are all great mediums and deserve to be explored. On top of that everything from music to movies from guns to graffiti.

Awwww yeah, artist J.C. Rivera just sent over some shots of a brand new figure he is in the process of casting up. Titled "G Raffael" this awesome looking figure is something that J.C. sculpted back in 2007 and has finally had the chance to cast it in resin. This guy stands a whopping is 9.5" tall from the shoes to top of the head, and is looking seriously sick! The best part is, J.C. is making up 20 of them for a $150 per piece... keep in mind that it's 100% hand made so it will take some time to make them and paint them, but boy will they be a great addition to any collection! Right off the bat I gotta say that the most recent Dunny 2011 series is making for some seriously awesome customs... now that's outta the way, check out this sick custom 3" Dunny by South American artist Leomar Esteves aka les83machine where he took MAD's Zombie Biker figure, covered it in tons of paint, grunge, and scribbled all over it in a crazy random pattern that works sooooo well! Well... it looks like Texas is finally getting its foothold in the designer toy scene as we saw a show there earlier this year and now in the coming month there are 2 more custom shows going down... and above is one of them! "Vinyl Thoughts" is set to open up on Thursday, September 15th at The Quixotic World - One thing to note about this even is that it will be one night only! This appears to be a pretty solid event with tons of stuff going on... in fact to much to list here, so if you are interest hit up their official website HERE for all the nitty gritty!
The guys over at Rotobox have just shared with us some really cool info about an upcoming show featuring the amazing works of their artist friend Gabby Tiongson! This show titled "Nuerana" is opening tonight at Vinyl On Vinyl in the Phillipines! Gabby S. Tiongson a.k.a. “DIKO” wields a Sharpie with the surgical precision of a scalpel, and as you can see those black lines, sure and strong, cut through paper giving life to creations pulled from Tiongson’s cerebrum.

Artist Daniel Yu aka Dory just sent over some really cool pictures of a completed custom he did up on a 3A WWRP scale custom Square that he is calling "Square Dance Shellie"... haha what a perfect name!! Dory goes on to tell us that "Katik Ayam" literally translated is little chicken in Malay... it's used to describe a small fry, if you will. So seeing the decal on the side... it's very fitting! Mike Franco of Wizard Sleeve Toys is proud to be hosting once again his "Feminality Art Show"... but this go around the theme is couples!
