SDCC 2011 - Day 0... setup!!!!
It's finally here... well sorta, SDCC 2011 is upon us! Most are either traveling this day, or tomorrow, but for those with booths... it's time to strap on yer grungy cloths and get to work. Setup day is always alot of fun for me as you get to see a little behind the scenes action, aka the magic of it all coming together... unwrapping figures, setting up shelves, getting looks at new things not seen by many others :-). The real fun happens tomorrow during preview night, in the mean time hit the jump to see what I captured today, and feel free to follow me on Twitter HERE as I will be sending out updates during the convention!

SDCC 2011 "GUMPY" giveaway
Jose Reynoso, creator of the Gumpy figure, is holding a SDCC contest where he is giving away the first colorway of the Gumpy "Kuz" figure. This is a run of 5 plus one prototype, and they are not going to be available for sale... in fact all you have to do is find Jose wearing his Gumpy shirt (picture to the left) at various times during the Con and give him a piece of candy, that's it... simple right!?!?!?! There are 6 chances to win, and the only way to get this colorway, so keep those eyes peeled!
Dragatomi has some BIG news for SDCC 2011!
Well look at this... it appears that something BIG is lurking in the forest and is set to reveal itself at Dragatomi's booth #4935 during SDCC 2011... rumor has it that this elusive creature has not been spotted for some 6 years now, but what could it be? More very soon...
