Quarter Cutaway Anatomical 13" Coarse Toys "JAWS" sculpt from Jason Freeny
Check out this heat that Jason Freeny just revealed via his Facebook page... it's an awesome sculpt that he recently completed of a 13" tall "Jaws" figure originally designed by Coarse Toys in the style that we have come to know and love from Jason, the reveal of the anatomy in a sweet 1/4 cutaway! Just like his previous versions, Jason documents the whole process as he sculpts the skeletal system as well as the guts... and on this figure everything looks sooooo clean... would be amazing to get a production of these made! I can't even begin to imagine how long something like this takes, and the attention to detail... making everything perfect, this piece is fantastic! Head on over to his Facebook page HERE and enjoy the rad pictures.

adFunture's 2ft tall "Hiroshi Fujiwara" figure
Spotted over on VEIL's Facebook page HERE, and originally unveiled at adFunture's past show on 5/20/2011 held at Veil in Taipei titled "We are One Human Race" was the 2ft tall "Hiroshi Fujiwara" figure... who, if your unfamiliar with, is more commonly known as the godfather of streetwear. Back in 2008, adFunture released a 6" version of this figure (which you can see the size comparison on the left) and it appears that they plan on rolling out a much larger 2' version. There is no word on a release or price just yet, but I will update you once that all get ironed out.

"Innards" - Joe Ledbetter Solo Show @ Copro Gallery
Coming this June, join iconic Los Angeles artist Joe Ledbetter for “Innards,” the highly-anticipated opening of his new body of work. While most of Ledbetter’s previous shows have contained themes or story lines, this show is a departure. Disregarding his past, Ledbetter says he has “erased any self-inflicted boundaries and just let loose.” His most fun, colorful and impressive paintings to date are to be expected in this ambitious show. Ledbetter is excited to return for his 3rd show at Copro gallery. When asked about the title of the show “Innards,” he explains “the goal of the show is to open up my work and ignore any restrictions. The theme of the show is that it is theme-less. I want to reveal what’s been living inside me for the past year, and I’m ready to spew my guts all over the gallery.”

Paul Kaiju x Project 1/6 exclusive Boss Carrion's
Holy crap!!! It appears Medicom based Project 1/6 continues to ramp up their releases as they have teamed up with Paul Kaiju to drop some exclusive Boss Carrion figures. According to Paul, both of these were hand painted by him and then shipped back overseas... so these are the real deal! These are going to be a Japan only release ( time to use those overseas connections) and are going to be available on Sunday, June 5th 2011, at 12am Japan Time... so if my time conversion is correct, these will drop on Saturday, June 4 2011 at 8am PST! Both will retail for around $100 each HERE... and am sure will sell out very fast!
