RAMPAGE TOYS Japanese Soft Vinyl Project!
So... not only is Jon from Rampage Toys making a HUGE move to Japan, but while there he plans on tapping into that countries resources by getting a vinyl toy made! He is currently in the process of doing the sculpt for what he is calling his "Ugly Unicorn" character... and according to Jon, he's gigantic, he's relatively docile, and he needs to eat Cupcakes in order to survive! Think 'Giant Cupcake Eating Booska'!!! As you can see above it's all still a very rough WIP, and the top picture is quite blurry... letting our minds wander as to what it could look like... maybe the sketch on the right? Stay tuned for more updates as we get em!

*RECAP* "Getting BIG" Sharky show 5/20/2011
Last night, May 20th 2011, the Toy Tokyo Underground Gallery played host to Keithing of ToyQube's MASSIVE fiberglass 36" tall Sharky show titled "Getting Big", and thanks to Benny from Tenacious Toys we have all these great event photos that you see in this post! All the customs that were completed for this show turned out so great, and it is really cool to see them all in one place to really grasp each artists interpretation of the same shape. Artists Jason Freeny, kaNO, Keithing, Luke Chueh, and Tristan Eaton all had their pieces on display, but unfortunately Ron English and Frank Kozik were unable to get these giant pieces done in time for the opening, but Keith says that they will finish them and will have them up on display very soon! All of these pieces will be on display until the 29th of May, so if you could not make it out to the opening be sure to swing by and see em in person! Hit the jump to see more photos from this event!
