JCRivera's "Pirates of the Mercy Sea"

Artist JCRivera is at it again... and he really like working on David Choe's Munko figure, as he recently tackled another one for his most current project titled "Pirates of the Mercy Sea". JC hand sculpted the bears on the boat, and completely transformed that Munko into a ship by cutting into the back and created a wooden ship motif... super creative and so well executed, I love the end result! If you dig what you see this custom is up for grabs HERE via his online store, and while you are there take a look at his other rad creations! Great stuff man, keep it up!

Paper KOI Japan relief... awesome!!!

With your help, the C3 Paper Koi Project has contributed more than $600 to the American Red Cross Japan relief efforts. And they're not done yet. Although the situation in Japan has faded from the headlines, help is still needed. So the guys over at C3 added several new Koi designs for you to download with a donation. If you haven't donated, it's never too late. If you have, they are asking for your support again. Please share this message with friends and family by directing them to www.c3brandmarketing.com.

The "platform" was created by paper toy genius Matt Hawkins and all designs are done by the in-house-illustratrators at C3 including Matt Hawkins, Doug Kubert, Tyler Coey, Zach Trover, Matt Loehrer, and Steve Duffendack.

Two Custom Munnys from Mikie Graham

The entries for Kidorobot's MunnyWorld contest keep coming in, and these two from artist Mikie Graham are pretty stellar! On the left is "Atlas Telemon" which was inspired by the Greek Titan Atlas, and on the right is "Bongo Came Back" which was inspired by the first monkey in space. I'm loving the colors on both, and the themes are very well executed and look great! Go ahead and vote for these here, and follow Mikie on Twitter to stay up to date.
