This website is about any and everything that sparks the creative genius in all of us. By profession I am a Graphic Designer, and enjoy all aspects of design. From traditional to urban from resin to vinyl, these are all great mediums and deserve to be explored. On top of that everything from music to movies from guns to graffiti.
We are treated today with the full reveal of artist Tam D. aka Okedoki's original figure titled "Benny the Dreamer". This figure is made of polystone resin, limited to an edition of 200 pieces, stand 11.5" tall and is set to release in a few days via pre-order! It really is the complete package and as you can see from the above image Okedoki and VTSS Toys did a seriously stellar job on creating this rad figure.
Not only do we get the full reveal today, but we also get an inside look at a sweet video showing the bamboo box/packaging get the burn treatment... it's soooo cool, and the quality on this looks amazing. BeastWreck has several shirt designs they are launching with: "GRRRILLA", "KROOL-AID" (available in red and black options), and "PAKKU-MAN" (available in black and yellow options). All designs have been created by artist Jared Moraitis (BeastPop) and are available in men's sizes S-XXXL and women's sizes S-XL. You might also find a button or sticker or two. They are taking preorders right now, but all shirts will be screenprinted by Threadbird, who produce some amazing shirts! No direct-to-garment print-on-demand junk here!
Kidrobot just announced quite a cool release that I think many people were not expecting... an 8" Dunny by Marka27. Similar in shape to his recent 3" design for Azteca Series 2... but that's where the similarities stop because he went and did a completly different design for the larger versions and it's killer! Dubbed the "Shadow Serpent", this 8" showcases Marka27's Mexican heritage along with his very popular mini-god aesthetic. There will be two versions, the 'Green' which is the OG figure and the 'Black' which is the chase and has a 1/6 ratio! These are limited to 1,500 pieces worldwide and available beginning April 21 for $70.00 a piece.
Paul Kaiju continues to release all kinds of goodies, and if it's not vinyl, or resin packed into vinyl, it's hand made resin figures all cast and hand painted by the man himself... and this particular series is releasing as a 4-pack which includes: a Magnetic "Pasty Batsy" with optional base, Magnetic "Biter-baby", Eel-face "Chibi Welt", and a "Seagool". Releasing tomorrow, Friday April 8th at 6pm BST (UK London Time) is custom artist Tesselate very first 8" Dunny titled 'Big Boris'. This piece is 100% handpainted with acrylics and additional mediums used were posca markers and a bit of spray paint. The super talented folks behind Invisible Creature and the creators of one of the newest Super7 Monster Family figures, Leroy C., are making their way over to Super7 in San Francisco where they will be showing a collection of thier work along with some special releases! On that note, they will be debuting the first colorway of Leroy C., will have some prints available, along with a showcase of illustrations from their late grandfather, Alfred Paulsen, and inspiration and driving force in thier artistic lives! it seems as though we post up a news custom from UK artists Squink on a daily basis... this guy is a customizing machine and the quickness he pumps these out is in no way a refection in his work, as each and every piece is immaculate!
