This website is about any and everything that sparks the creative genius in all of us. By profession I am a Graphic Designer, and enjoy all aspects of design. From traditional to urban from resin to vinyl, these are all great mediums and deserve to be explored. On top of that everything from music to movies from guns to graffiti.
With the recent tragedy in Japan still continuing to unfold it can be easy to become disheartened and yet in the midst of such events it's always heart warming to see the community of artists and collectors always willing to step up to help in whatever manner they can. One example is from a dear friend on the 3A boards, JEDI as he's known there wanted to do something as I'm sure we all do and decided to give something that he loves dearly to help in the cause. Shown above is a artist proof of a print Ashley Wood gave him. This piece (measuring 17 X 22 in.) was from a set of prints that were never printed, so this is indeed a very rare find and a one of a kind item.
Paul (Jedi) stated it best when he said: "The magnitude of the event that unfolded on the news while we were going about our daily activities hit a lot of us harder than we would ever imagine. This is the reason why I am auctioning my Ashley Wood Artist Proof Print, the only one in the world, to make as much money to aid the poor citizens hit on the Coast of Japan."
The auction is on ebay and can be found HERE. The full amount raised at auction will be donated to Global Giving. Listing fee's and shipping will be paid out of Paul's pocket. (as always a generous guy) So if your a Ashley Wood fan and a collector this is a great piece to go for, and you'll have the knowledge every time you look at it that your money helped the people of Japan...

MASScanvas is a new design platform that provides a chance for designers and artists to make some cash and get their work noticed all while helping out a variety of charities - design with a purpose. Soft-launched March 1 with the first design challenge, MASScanvas has hit the ground running. Artist and designers will have until March 23 before judging starts and the public helps pick who will be the beneficiaries of the $5,000 to be split up among each of the top five designers. Lastly, t-shirt sales will begin, and the more that sell the more will be given to charity as 10% of the top line revenues (not profits) will go right to the cause. This month's charity is P.S. Arts, an organization dedicated to keeping art programs in schools. And what's even better is they are doing this every month! So if you miss the deadline this time, check back for another challenge next month or follow them on Facebook to stay up to date.
