And yet another amazing FOOMI custom comes our way, and this one, just like the one we featured
HERE from Cris Rose - also from the UK - was created by
Squink!. It's kinda ironic how the two artists that we featured from the UK both have vine like characteristics on their figures... but the similarities stop there as Squink! took this shape and created one of his fantastic fantasy woodland creatures... along with some really nice wood texturing, green gradients with a touch of grunge, and just look at those eyes, nose and mouth... RAD :-) The additional scarf and double wooden beating sticks/swords are a cool touch! Great job once again on this new FOOMI platform... which by the way is
released today.

Brizl is dropping two new art pieces today at
Fallen Regime.
Brizl, long known for his loose style sketchwork has been really cranking out some great work lately, and after many inquiries online has decided to release his artwork on a
limited basis. Each piece shown above is one of a kind, both are on a letter size (
8.5 x 11 inches) card stock paper done in ink and brush with the colored piece having the additional markers.

3A is long known for their great toys, but often times people forget that they've also had a reputation for generosity as well. Previously they've help raise money for children in Hong Kong and now they've set their sites on Japan announcing a very special release of their WWRp (World War Robot portable) 1:12 Armstrong with all proceeds to go to Japan.
Ashley announced:
"We at 3A are going to send all our previous 3A customers a special JDF WWrp Armstrong toy, we will also sell for a limited time and give every $$$ to a Japanese welfare agency. I mean every $"
JDF shown above on a Dropcloth and Square, is a new colorway that first showed up a few months ago as a Goodshipped exclusive two pack. Limited to 500 and selling out in under a hour (300 at Wonder Festival and 200 online) this set had been proven quite popular with it's classic Japanese touches from the Rising Sun motif to it's Kanji decals, so it's little surprise that we'd see more robot's in this design.
What makes this so great is seeing the company release the colorway for this great cause which seems so fitting, plus making all proceeds go to the Japanese Welfare Agency. To top this off 3A is covering all the cost's of production, materials and shipping out of pocket, a hefty sum indeed. As if this wasn't enough 3A has also announced they are sending out this WWRp JDF armstrong to all their previous Japanese customers for free, a great gift indeed for customers who no doubt would love this bot but surely have more pressing matters at this time than to buy toys.
It should be noted at this time that the Robot for sale will be a WWRp Armstrong and not a Dropcloth as shown above (picture only provided as a reference for design color and decals) also no word yet on when the sale will be or the price for this special release, sale will be at bambaland. JDF Armstrong will be on sale - March 29

D*FACE brings his signature style to Los Angeles this April to
Corey Helford Gallery with a new solo exhibit titled "
Going Nowhere Fast". For this show, D*Face challenges society’s fascination with celebrity through his satirical exploration of fame, power and material-obsessed culture. Transforming the gallery into a multi-media vault of aPOPcalyptic new works, D*Face immortalizes the deaths of America’s most illustrious icons from Andy Warhol to Michael Jackson with an all-star milieu of new paintings, sculptures and installations. Also on display will be “Flutterdies”, an unusual sculpture series fashioned from authentic butterflies and insects combined with spray can caps that D*Face has collected over the years. This incredible show will culminate with a shocking red carpet experience on opening night.

This is a special 1-off resin "
Borracho De Los Muertos" I made for St. Patricks Day 2011. It was created with a dark green resin, then embellished with black acrylics, and antique gold, then sealed with a clear coat. I hand sculpted, hand painted and hand poured this piece, so there may be some slight embellishments/imperfections to the figure... but that is what makes it so unique! Releasing
