“La Brea" Pico & Wilshire by Joe Ledbetter

The Loyal Subjects is proud to announce the next colorway in Joe Ledbetter's series of Pico & Wilshire vinyl figures! Called "La Brea", this 2-figure set harkens back to the prehistoric days of the La Brea Tar Pits, which by the way are an awesome place to visit if your in the LA area :-) This colorway features showcases a 12" Wilshire the Wooly Mammoth in a mostly grayscale color pallet along with an black tar underbelly... pretty much spelling out his impending doom, if the 6" Pico the Sabretooth Cat in a nice neon green pelt doesn't get to him first. This specific set is limited to 99 pieces and is set to drop on Thursday, March 3rd 2011 @ Noon PST via The Loyal Subjects online store HERE for $175.

Munky King's Omi Series 1 design from Yoskay Yamamoto & release party info

Munky King is gearing up for the Series 1 Omi release which is happening this Thursday, March 3rd, from 7-10pm. This first series includes designs from Luke Chueh, Kozik, Buff Monster, Yoskay Yamamoto, Greg Simkins, Nathan Jurevicius, Dave Pressler and Ferg... which you can see the majority of them above. Along with the release of the series, MK continues to reveal peeks at new color variants and versions of the submitted designs, and today we are getting a look at Yoskay Yamamoto's fierce "The Nightmare" design, while still keeping the other design by Yoskay tight lipped. Artists will be at the MK shop to sign their designs, sketch and chat it up, and just announced the first 50 people who buy a case will receive an Omi Wall or one of Yoskay Yamamoto's elusive designs!
