ZAM's "Welcome To Corporate America" Qee
Toy2R just had their awesome Toy Fair Preview Party on Monday, February 14th, 2011 at Yoyamart and it was a HUGE success... now we get to see all the amazing custom trickle in and get up close and personal with each one. First up is the amazing custom from Zam of Genunie Artikle as he transformed Toy2R's Mini Bear Qee into a really amazing custom with the title "Welcome to Corporate America". Zam too a mini Munny head, placed it on the Qee body, used the top of the Qee head to form Mickey Mouse ears and then he took a smaller Qee head and put it inside a clear sphere creating a Disney balloon... this custom is seriously amazing and one of the best executed I have ever seen! I am sure this is open to interpretation, and I will leave that up to you all to decide :-) Great stuff Zam!

This airs tonight, Tuesday February 15th, 2011 at 1:35am on NBC. This is so cool, and Alex totally deserves it with his recent HUGE success of his latest solo show "Vertigo". Do yourself a favor and DVR this now... then again most of you live the"artist" life so you will probably be up at that time anyways! Congrats Alex!

Buff Monster's 10-year anniversary panel release
2011 marks a HUGE milestone in the art life of Buff Monster as 10 years ago this month he started to draw the little Buff Monster character, which in turn started showing up all over the streets on 10"x10" panels in 2005. Buff says "It was a suggestion from my dad. Back then I would cut all the wood myself, borrowing a chop saw from one friend and a table saw from another. I’ve made a bunch of those panels, though never more than around 30 per design; a few of those designs I may have made 50 of!" To celebrate this 10 year anniversary Buff saw it only fitting to create a special 10-year design... and is going to release them on his website, which in fact he has never done before. This Thursday at 10am PST, Buff will release the half of the edition (#1-#15... as seen above) via his online store HERE for $275, plus shipping. Along with each purchase he will also include the new 2011 version of the essential Buff Monster sticker pack and a special hand-silkscreened box which come signed and numbered by Buff. This is a great way to commemorate Buff's decade of street art... the question is, will you be one of the lucky ones to snag these up?

SANER's "RostroJaguar" Munny custom
Just posted up via his website, Mexican artist Saner created a really sick custom Munny he is calling the "RostroJaguar" which translated is 'Jaguar Face'... a pretty literal title of a figure seeing as this 7" Munny is wearing Jaguar mask. This figure also comes with a club accessory, along with a really cool custom paint job that features tattoos on the back, stomach, and arm! You can add this to your collection now by sending Saner an email via contacto@saner.com.mx!

Keithing's "The Ox Warrior" teaser
There have been many iterations of Keithing's resin "Dragon Warrior" released thus far and now he has set his sights on the second figure to release in his "MYTH WARRIORS" series... this being the "Ox Warrior"! As you can see from the above picture, the Ox head is still pretty rough but will sit atop a body very similar to the 'Terra Cotta' type that we saw with Keith's Dragon Warrior. More on this very soon!

Chris Ryniak's resin "CRUMB-EATERS"
Chris Ryniak continues to trickle out images here and there of not only new things that will be at his upcoming 3 person show dubbed "Monsters and Misfits" which opens on April 12th, 2011 in Japan, but he is also release brand new figures... case in point these resin creatures Chris is calling "MOLEcules" (working title) and the actual name has been confirmed by Chris as "CRUMB-EATERS". Chris states that "Lets just say they are being produced en masse. These three are just one-offs for Japan." So from the looks of it... there are even more creatures from Ryniak's monster menagerie just upon the horizon... and I can't wait!
